DXL Big + Tall — Local services in Lynnwood

Shopping at DXL is always a feel-good experience; it's a big, airy place with customers and staff who are, more often than not, big. Just like me. I don't have to squeeze through narrow aisles; I don't have to sort through 90% of clothes that I cannot fit into; I don't see fabrics that make wide people look even wider than we are. Every time I have shopped at DXL, the folks helping me have been engaged with the process: they ask what I'm looking for and know where I can find it in the store.

Even when supply chain issues have clobbered their inventory, they're still on top of what they have left. I needed a simple, inexpensive black dress shirt, 2XL. They knew they'd been cleaned out, knew when it happened, had an understanding of where the supply chain broke, knew where the one remaining sub-$150 black dress shirt could be found, and told me how I could wrap that 4XL bad boy around me and not look like I was drowning in fabric.

The lack of product in stock is the sole reason for taking off one star. The folks working are five stars, and I'm not blowing smoke up...

This was the second time coming into the Alderwood Store. It made me remember why I should only buy from the online store if at all. Bought three shirts for $150 on Fathers day. After the transaction I realized that the company that continuously spams my emails and mailbox telling me about their specials and percentage off $100 or more. That they wouldn't have ANY deals for their customers who came into the store on Fathers Day. I asked Brian the guys checking me out if they were having any deals for Fathers day and he said no that they had mailed out a flyer but the customers don't use them. He then continued to explain to me that the online company does different deals and they have nothing to do with the store other than being part of the same company. The guys just wouldn't shut up about why there weren't any deals for fathers day. Reminded me of the snarky employee I ran into the last time I went here. Just not worth the hassle. Will never come back...

5★ experience! Called and asked about shoes. If they had size 13s & what genres. Person on the other end was very knowledgeable of available merchandise.

Drove here, opened the store doors, and was met with employees who were happy. I asked about shoes, and was shown their shoe section. One employee (without me having to ask), went to the back room and found what I was looking for (genre) in clearance. And... the shoes were a great recommendation that I bought it.

I tried on a few pairs, and bought another. This time the one on the shelf. Comfortable and affordable.

Don't waste your time elsewhere trying to find 11 and up men's shoes. Go here! You won't be disappointed!

Got to browse clothes and found a vast selection of styles. What a treat to find Big & Tall clothes (and shoes) in one location. Definitely a must shop location for your Big & Tall needs.
