Alderwood Community Church — Attraction in Lynnwood

For my review of this church please see my comment to Sound Transit about proposed condemnation proceedings:

I believe this would be beneficial for the community as a whole. This church is very toxic to the community and unloving as a whole, in my opinion. The leadership has been unwilling to interact with the public regarding issues of political leaders in the church. They do not support local unhoused folks only those that are the “working poor” and lock their church doors to keep such folks out, who they think might be harmful to the children, from my experiences.

The sound transit will at least connect communities and allow for transportation for the unhoused and other individuals who would be excluded from the current building there. This should be called just another building because it really is nothing like a church should be.

Thank you Sound Transit for removing the church and adding an actually useful service for all people both housed...

This is an amazing Bible based preaching church. And every one of the pastors is a gifted speaker. It's a great blessing to find a church that preaches the gospel without either compromising it or sugar-coating it. Great kids programs, great worship music, and lots of ways to get "plugged in" to a larger church without getting lost in the process as they encourage people to join smaller groups in order to build supportive relationships that meet weekly and delve deeper into the message.'

Great place to worship if you have no yet found a home church if you have moved from elsewhere. This is not a charismatic church if you are looking for one

We attended the christmas service and the message for Christmas was edifying. Music was a mix of classical and contemporary and those whom are fundamentalist worshippers may find music a tad loud with drums as opposed to violin and or piano.
