I don't often leave reviews unless I need to.
We were at the mall and decided to try this place out after seeing it for years. From the moment we got there we felt like the vibes were off as in the workers didn't want to be there.
Please note, that I'm not familiar with Medderterainian food but would enjoy a gyro once in a while. I didn't know the menu or anything. The server took my order for a chicken gyro. He said if that's all we want and I said yeah. Went to the cashier and he said what i got and if i wanted fries. I said yeah sure.
We paid and when the server was making my order, we saw him complaining with the cashier in their language (probably Greek) and kept giving me a look.
So during this whole time, I saw how they made the fries, people before and after me. They made everyone's fries with sauce, cheese, and garnish, except for mines. I was trying to be nice and just grabbed my order. We sat down and saw that they made everyone's fries with the loaded toppings.
It just made me reflect that they provided bad service with bad attitudes. Don't work there if you don't enjoy it. You can find a job anywhere else.
Cashier had a man bun, server had a fro top with a fade (fb style) and last guy was an older gentleman. I'll definitely stop not...
Read moreI am so deeply disappointed the way this chain has declined over the years. I used to enjoy the gyro over fries so much and the staff was very friendly. Now whenever I go they pretend like they don't know what gyro over fries are. For example I came in one afternoon with my wife to share a gyro over fries and since her and I have been staying away from meat we decided to ask for vegetables instead. What I ended up receiving was attitude and confrontation by one of the younger workers with semi long hair, tied back. He was very rude and acted like he couldn't just put vegetables over our fries and put feta cheese on top. The guy is a total nut. I told him I would pay whatever it took. I just wanted some damn fries with vegetables and cheese. He aggressively threw my fries into a bowl and squirted cheese everywhere and put lettuce on top. Which isn't what I wanted. I wanted diced cucumbers tomatoes and onions with feta cheese and tanziki SAUCE! After I paid and sat down to eat I had this bad feeling while eating the fries and I thought he could've would've might've spat in my food or sabatoged it. I will not be coming back for awhile. They're lucky I always give them a shot and end up going back to see if things have been improved. Til next...
Read moreDo you like fries, then order the House Special. Even though I asked for the fries to be left, got a pile of them anyway. Now that I think about without the fries the styrofoam clamshell would have been almost empty. The ground meat they pass off as Gyro meat, was... well... not. This meat came on top of the fries. There was a sauce poured over the meat and fries, it wasn't Greek sauce. The wilty salad was covered with some very vinegary tasting dressing, I could eat it. Needless to say I didn't eat much of my dinner. I know it food court grub but, seriously. There is a Greek place in Woodinville that shares the name. That location is far and above this joint. If they are related, the recipe took a wrong turn somewhere in Brier. If you're ever at Alderwood Mall looking for Greek food. Walk out the food court. Head to the Northwest corner of the of the mall Parking lot. Just past the JCPenney and Nordstrom parking garage. There is a strip mall with far better Greek. While not the best a full 2 1/2 star finer than Gyro Express Mediterranean Grill (on the mall). Oh, I didn't even mention the uninspired staff and sloppy presentation. Gosh, I...
