Hope Nails — Local services in Lyon Charter Township

I went a second time and things were much better. An older gentleman did my pedicure and he was amazing. Diligent and careful! He worked very hard to remove my calluses without hurting me. The woman who did my gel manicure did a very good job. I went first thing on a Friday and it got very busy after I arrived. I walked in and was able to get right in but I would recommend making an appointment for Friday mornings. Overall it was a much nicer experience!!

This was my first time here. The salon had great reviews so I was anxious to try. It is larger than I thought with a lot of staff working. My pedicure was fairly good. One large toe was messed up by the technician but repaired. It still is not smooth though. There were places of smeared polish on the actual toe that was left. I did think the massage part was lovely without the usual pounding motions that some use. My manicure was good but one finger has a lopsided shaping. Two things were that I really didn’t feel much appreciation from my technician. She checked her phone often and didn’t ask me about how things were. The other was that while my manicure was drying I was placed at the drying station for 15 min. During that time some of the staff played cards right behind me. I realize it might be a downtime for them but they were somewhat loud. I go to the salon to relax and be pampered. I felt this was lacking some here. Will I try it...

Have been to Hope nails 3 times. They are wonderful. Monica, Van and Jay that waited on me all have been amazing, kind, gentle and get it right. Both Monica and Van are talented nail artists with so many choices. When I say gentle, they don’t pull on you or dig at you with their nails. They are wonderful. Will continue to go back.

6/15/2024 Another spectacular experience at Hope Nails. They have an amazing team of staff working together to create a comfortable, relaxed and welcoming environment. Was fortunate to get Jay again for my pedicure, new for me was Kenny for my dip manicure. He is so kind, gentle, precise at his work. Making sure the whole time you are comfortable. Both Jay and Kenny are a pleasure to have work in your nails or feet. Van put the finish touch with the design. Hope Nails and staff are a treasure amongst so many choices around.

The first time I went my experience was great. Van did dip mani and pedi and they looked awesome. The second time I came in for dip and I didn't get the other girls name but she was also very nice and I left liking the look of my nails. (Though I thought they were thinner than normal.)

I did have the thinner dip break on 5 nails within the first 4 days of getting them done. Thy reached out to me via text to redo the set completely. I really appreciate their professionalism and wanting to make it right. My big concern was it would be hard to come back in because I would need to find someone to watch my 1 year old son. I ended up bringing him with me and everyone was so sweet and patient with him, chatting with him and even giving him a snack.

Van re-did my nails with tips to match my natural nail length. She made sure the dip was thicker and the shape I had previously. My nails look great and again I really appreciate everyone at...
