HONEST FOOD INFLUENCER REVIEW!

This is a 2-part review based on my 1st & 2nd time eating here with my girlfriend..

1st time eating here was a 3-Star Experience at best. Our waitress (white-ditsy type of girl) basically never gave us ANY water at all & upon having to ask twice for WATER, she brought it near the end of our meal.. We also never received any silverware to eat until several minutes AFTER our appetizers were served.. Also, had to ask her if they would bring out the asparagus that came with my girlfriends meal.. I ordered a second drink which never came the rest of the time we were there & told the waitress, yet she didn’t take it off of the bill until I brought it up a 2nd time!!! She made sure to come back often to ask if we had paid our bill at the end though.. Kind of fake nice. Wasn’t a great experience, but the food was good. 3 Stars, overall.

The 2nd time we came by, I THOUGHT it would be a great/better experience, but it was the total opposite. Came in within the last hour & a half of them being open. Server/Bartender was nice & attentive until we got our first round of drinks/apps.. Ordered the large ribeye cooked between Medium-Rare & Medium (yes, I emphasized it to the waiter/bartender).. Came out closer to medium-rare, but decided not to send it back since they were closing very soon by the time the steak was out… He was pretty nonexistent on the service end, despite being polite & pretty much everyone was gone by the time we got our check which was magically already printed & on the table behind me when he did pop up.. Still tipped well, but upon leaving & arriving back at home, I proceeded to start throwing up. Fast forward about 2-3 days of puking my guts up & not being able to eat ANYTHING, I went to the doctor & they said that I had severe food poisoning…. Had to call out of work over an undercooked steak. We took our food to go as well.. Actually threw the steak in the oven about 4-5 days later & cooked it more to about Medium-Well & was JUST FINE. 1 Star for crazy food poisoning!!!

Forgot to mention we also did not receive waters at any point & yes, I observed some of the other customers tables near closing & they all had waters… Why have I dined in twice & not received water before anything else..?

Manager asked if everything was ok upon exiting & said it was fine, but I couldn’t have been more wrong! Came here spending a Longhorn gift card & it cost me my health & work...

I usually don’t leave any review at all for anything, but yesterdays visit exceeded pretty much everything I have ever experienced, when it comes to unfriendly staff. First off: our waitress was the nicest person ever. She was very courtesy oriented. Food came quickly and was good as usually, since we go there for dinner as a family almost every other weekend. What really upset me was the fact that the manager of the restaurant approached us, after we finished our dinner, we already paid and we were about to leave, while my 2 yo was walking up and down the hallway. Apparently there were guests who didn’t like the fact, that my kid was laughing out loud and that it passed by their table. I get that! I understand that there are people out there who just don’t like kids or especially little toddlers who are more energetic, but my child basically just walked by and giggled all the time.These guests were so upset, they asked for the manager who then approached us to let us know, our kid is not supposed to walk by their table anymore and needs to be quiet!! I mean… a 2yo!!! Who just laughed and was excited to already leave the restaurant. I don’t even care about the rudeness of these people, but the manager could have reacted just differently. My real question is: what would this manager do, if there are actually individuals with disabilities, coming to the restaurant, who are in some way „disabled“ and just can’t be „quiet“, because of a disorder. It’s very frustrating, because I understand the manager wanted to please these customers who were so freakin annoyed by my child but on the other hand he upsets us as a family so much that we are not coming back to this restaurant ever. The way this has been handled was not a good choice in my opinion and that’s sad, because we used to like coming here. We always understood the Longhorn chain stands for hospitality and family oriented dining, but apparently it’s not the case here. I would give 5 stars for the waitress, but 0 for the way this situation has been handled by the manager. Very very sad and...

It's been awhile since my last visit and I wonder why. I hope this gets novody in trouble lol. Last visit I ordered the parmesan crusted chicken and half rack of ribs. My wife ordered the 6oz flks filet I believe. Remember these come with 2 sides. Food gets there and the waiter says man someone's hungry. Sets my plate don't and I'm like man thats alot of food. Sets my wife's down and then Sets another playe in front of me and says enjoy. I look it over and said what is this? So I taste it and it ends up being the sirloin steak with some kind of unbelievably yummy sauce and mushrooms, I don't do mushrooms but had to try them and loved them. Then looked and said wait. There's the chicken,there's the ribs and then said oh wait I didn't order this. So the sweet waitress came by and asked how is everything and I said I don't think I ordered this and she looked and said no you sure didn't and she said and I definitely didn't put it on your bill so sir if you want it enjoy it on the house. So ummm of course I did. Everything was great. Now think if 2 adults go to any FF restaurant and each get a combo meal your looking at around 25.00 for food that well it sucks. We get the bill and I look and im blown away. 43.00 for all this real,good food. Makes me wonder why the hell does anyone do Mcds or BK. It was well worth every penny times 2. The one bad thing about the night is the crusted parm chicken and ribs have always been my go to dinner. But damnit that sirloin steak was good. So I suggest longhorn comes up with the Shaun's "Fatboy' special lol. Crusted parm chicken, 1/2 rack of ribs and a cowboy sirloin steak and comes with your own personal to go box lol. This is true Longhorn never...
