Belk — Local services in Macon

All Designer Brands, CURVY DEPARTMENT, I've been watching since they came into Belk in July 2022 til now, $9.99 ea plus additional $1.00 off, so $135.00 Blazer was $8.99. Sweaters, Blouses, Shirts, Pants $8.99 ea. But the Bonus was the terrific lady named Rhoda who checked me out. Dressed in beautiful outfit, looking like she just dropped by after Church to shop, with pretty hair, smile & personality. How nice to see a Belk employee representing the Store that I've been shopping at since 1950's with everyone in my family, instead of the look of many of our precious younger ones in ragged, holes everywhere, & in unexpected places, too tight jeans, with shirts, tops, & holey sweaters, & a generally unkempt appearance. I realize that's their choice to dress as they please, & what's in vogue at the moment, & they represent & help sell to our younger generation..What a surprise to meet Rhoda who came to greet me, & ask if she could help. I've actually had cashiers look up from their phones (briefly), see me approaching, & walked away. She saw two items I was buying that had not been marked to the $9.99 price, took the initiative to call the supervisor, Jenny, I think (Fresh back from maternity leave), who immediately corrected the error. Thank you Belk for getting the prices down to a reasonable, acceptable price. Hope you'll continue this price decreasing thru July 4th. It's time to move out this inventory, & bring in the new. When I walked in the store And Was greeted by Annette, she was the first person to asked me to apply for a Belt card because of her friendly attitude and beautiful smile I agreed immediately. While I was there, she showed me some fragrances that my daughter or wife may have liked and I agreed to a $200 bottle of perfume which she held behind the counter. She let me know that once I applied for the car, I would receive an instant 20% off of my purchase. I had other items to get throughout the store and on my way back , two perfume to finalize all of my purchases. I came across Teresa in the jewelry department. I asked her where the finance department was so I can apply for a card. She immediately replied it's right here. I told her I had purchases to makeover and perfume. She said that I could use the 20% throughout the store today. When I went back to purchase the perfume from the young woman and fragrances I found out that I've been hornswoggled and trick into applying in jewelry, which I had no intentions of doing whatsoever. I have overly apologized to my sales person that I will use from now on for every single purchase if I buy a cookie on the shelf. I will only go through the perfume department because Of this incident. And she's very easy on the eyes , which makes it even better joy to see her smiling face .. Bell will never lose me because of this incident, But what it what it has done is made me a permanent customer of the perfume department you go Annette have a good day you have 10...

Did not have items that I came from over 100 miles away to purchase (website stated that this was the closest location that had the item in stock) so I decided to go ahead and purchase some make up and perfume that I needed In stead. I headed to the Versace perfume because I was definitely going to purchase some bright crystal perfume... I asked the associate that came to help me about Marc Jacobs dot perfume and she said with a belittling tone that they no longer sell for and that places such as tj maxx would be more likely to carry it..well aaallllrrrigghhtt ... I guess I'll grab my make up... I found my desired pallet at the Mac counter and stood and looked around for assistance.. the associate huddle that formed as I walked away from the perfumes couldn't have missed my obvious need for help but still they bickered on as if they had no interest in helping me. I was prepared to spend upward of $300 that night and I left spending not a penny. No Bruno...
