Pig on a Pie — Restaurant in Macon

My coworker, who is currently in Georgia for work, called me this afternoon demanding I write a review on his behalf as he was simply blown away by his experience with Pig On A Pie. The following is his review:

"Saying this place is phenomenal is an understatement. I'm an attorney who is visiting the area on business, and last night I was presenting to 30 railroad workers & needed catering for the event. Pig On A Pie exceeded any possible expectation. I ordered the Catering Option #2 which included 15 pizzas, 100 wings, drinks, and plates. The price was a STEAL coming out to roughly $10 per person to eat/drink. Everyone, including myself, left full and extremely satisfied with this catered dining experience. I would be eating here weekly if I lived here. You can't beat the quality of food and certainly not the price. Pig On A Pie hit out of the park."

Important Note (on my behalf): My coworker is what would be considered a "Food Snob" (an extreme critic of food quality/wants only the best of the best), so do NOT take his review with a grain of salt. Wings are the best in Macon. This was 7 months ago and I gave 5 stars. I meant exactly what I said. May 25th 2021, I go to get some good wings and ribs! Only this time? I was going to dine in. All the time I've eaten at this restaurant I was treated with respect and courtesy by an older gentleman. I'm always in my work clothes. On the 25th I was not and looked different. I wasn't greeted. Patrons were already inside seated and looked like they were really enjoying their meal. Man I was excited. There was no line so I took my time ordering. The cashier need help and her help which was a young adult male seemed all frustrated. My order was like 30 something and I felt this was worth every penny. Right as I was about to pay this young man had the audacity, to TELL ME WHERE TO SIT. Are you kidding me? No one else inside the restaurant because the other patrons finished but I have to have assigned seating. Man I took my money and left and went to another BBQ restaurant down the road. The food wasn't as good but atleast I was treated with respect. This left a bad taste in my mouth for Pig on the Pie for as long as I have been going. Really...

I eat here often and the food is good. However, I ordered on waitr today and received confirmation my food was ready. I approached the counter to let the gentleman at the register know I was here to pick up my order. He ask the lady who was helping prepare the food something. Her reply (I could hear her say). He's just gonna have to wait. I waited about 15 minutes longer for my food that I put in the order for 30 minutes before that. The sad part is a gentleman before me was waiting and she told him sorry for your wait. She did not have the decency for me as a patron of their business to even say anything to me. For this they get a low review today. My advise to the would be to treat all...
