I Purchased a Pandora bracelet for my wife's Christmas gift. Of course, it was the wrong size, as I could not measure her wrist before ordering. After consulting the Reeds website, I discovered we could ( with some exceptions ) exchange it at our nearest Reeds location, which was the Macon GA. Store. I attempted to call the store before driving the 90 minutes to get there, but got no answer after two tries. I wanted to make my wonderful wife happy and have her enjoy her gift, so today we made the trip. There was only one other customer in the store, and the lady asked what she could do for us. Immediately after we explained the dilemma, she told us we would have to send it back to the Reeds webstore. That's fine, I can accept that, but asking to help us determine the right size must have been way too much trouble, because she disappeared. A gentleman told us that if two fingers can slip underneath the bracelet, it was the right size. WE ALREADY KNEW IT WAS THE WRONG SIZE, we just wanted to know what size to order. Finally another lady used her neck lanyard to wrap around my wife's wrist and measured it on a yard stick. This entire experience left both of us with negative feelings about Reeds in general, as I don't think we were asking anything that any reputable jewelry salesperson should be more than happy to help us with. Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience. The sales associate was an absolute snob. She was standoffish and dismissive. I wanted what I wanted, which they could not get. Whilst I was there, I figured it would be a great time to also have a battery replaced in the watch I was wearing. I was told it would take three weeks to do so which turned into not wanted to do it at all once I was not willing to make a purchase.
I had every intention of purchasing the watch I wanted, but as I said, they did not have it and did not have the ability to order it.
Fine, I walked across the street to Kay, and they put a battery in my watch in five minutes. I’ll also be driving to Atlanta to complete my purchase where I’ll have it same day.
I guess we know why Rolex pulled their brand from your store.
