My son's birthday was rapidly approaching & he asked for around $800 worth of virtual reality equipment. We purchased it, but his Acer Nitro wouldn't charge. I took it to the Quality Computer guys on Riverside, and they said $250 to solder the charging port back into place. AND... They were gonna have to send it off because they don't do that in house anymore. I thought that was a bit high so I took it to the Ultra guys who sell shoes and fix phones on Grey Highway. They said it would only be $60. But after keeping it for several days they couldn't find the parts to fit. They didn't even call me to let us know.
So my kids birthday was a week away and I discovered IKRACK. They told me it would be 125 to fix the issue. But after expert examination, they discovered the problem was in the motherboard.
By this time I had already purchased an Alienware from one of my online groups. The seller hadn't touched it in a couple yrs cause their daughter went to college. We couldn't get it to factory reset because it needed so many updates. IKRACK was called upon once again. By this time my son's birthday was yesterday and he still couldn't play any of his games. The kind fella at the Macon location told me he would get it back to tip top shape for $99. I gladly paid him and hoped nothing else would be wrong. He called me back the next day to come pick it up.
My son has been playing his games ever since. He calls me everyday to tell me how much faster this computer is compared to his old one. He is soo happy & that makes it all worth it. God & IKRACK saved the day and even gave me a $30 refund on the $90 I paid for the old computer to be worked on. These guys have earned a new customer for...
Read moreThe Repair on my iPad Didn't Last 36 Hours!! I brought an iPad in for repairs on Monday (screen was shattered because an old child had stepped on it). Please understand that this iPad had traveled to and from school for 3 years (it also has a protective case) and has never had a screen crack. When I dropped it off I had been told it would be ready at lunch, when I called the technician informed me that he had cut the home button and needed to get one delivered so it would take longer. I called back at 4:30 and asked if it was ready and was told yes, when I arrived it was not ready, he said the glue was drying and he was in the back for sometime. Within 36 hours the screen was cracked on the edge where the home button is located. I brought it in and their response when I asked isn't it possible you may have set the screen incorrectly "no glass doesn't break itself." You can pay to have it fixed...
Read moreI am very disappointed in the way you work. Every time I come I have to pay once. The first time I pay 30 dollars. It’s the first time you put it on the screen and you didn’t do well either. and you told me i need to replace some part to get the screen, i still agreed and had to pay an extra 70 dollars. I still agreed, and the third time I came to get my laptop. And you changed a broken screen for me. but before that my screen was fine. As you said it was broken. It was due to your repair process, it was not my fault at all. and the 3rd time i came to pick up my laptop i was completely disappointed because you changed a broken screen for me and you told me it would cost me another $65 to get a new screen. If you had told me I needed a new screen at first I probably wouldn't have been so disappointed. You are a businessman, and so am I, but I won’t make money from customers and do...
