Wild Time Caribbean Trading Co. — Local services in Madeira Beach

I’m not one that normally complains, however, today I experienced one of the most unenjoyable shopping experiences ever. Today, May 3rd at around 3:45 pm, my husband, family and I went into Wild Time Caribbean Trading Co to go shopping. Upon arrival, Mary greeted us and informed us of today’s sales, and when she knew we were looking for some t shirts for my husband, she so graciously walked with us around the store helping choose some shirts. I had my 5 month old son with me and I needed to nurse/pump. Since no one was really in the store at the time, Mary gave me permission to use the fitting room with the understanding that if someone needed to try something on I would quickly exit. Upon shift change at 4 pm, I was already in the fitting room when another lady with a white bob cut began to question my mom who was with us, as to what was going on in the fitting room. She began to argue and tell my mom that I wasn’t allowed to be in there and became very rude and aggressive. She told my mom I could go to the public bathroom around the corner to take care of my business. I quickly gathered my things and left because she was causing a scene in front of the few customers in the store. I went to the public restroom and wouldn’t you know it, no outlets, or room to nurse. So, being a mother, I returned to the front of the store and pumped outside of the front of this establishment because it was the only outlet I could find. I wasn’t humiliated but frustrated I was left to pump in the heat with a fussy 5 month old who was just hungry. I just hope this review finds who it needs to find as to help with giving nursing mothers more accessibility to feeding...

Our family had a very unpleasant experience in the store today, May 3, 2025 during the 4 o’clock shift change. One employee told my daughter she could go in the fitting room and use the outlet in there to pump for a few minutes as she is a nursing mother. The store was not busy. The next shift employee came in within a few minutes (she was an older lady with short white hair) and came up to us and asked what was going on. We explained to her. She told us that it was not allowed, and we would have to leave immediately. I told her we were given permission from the other employee but she continued to be confrontational, rude, and extremely unprofessional. Terrible store and sorry excuse for a store manager.I am a 65 year old women and a successful business owner Who knows what excellent customer service is. I purchased $150.00 in clothing. When I went to pack less than 24 hours later, I realized that I grabbed a medium shirt for my husband who needed an extra large. Manager would not exchange, never even looked at the shirt in the bag. All tags were still on but I did not have my receipt. Beware, no refunds either! Zero service after the sale. Such a shame, the store has nice clothing but will not get anymore of my business or...
