Campbell Corners — Local services in Madison Heights

Went to outback steakhouse had the worst service ever after we sat in the booth they asked what we wanted to drink 10 minutes later that came by and asked us what we wanted to drink. I ordered a Dr. Pepper the other one got a Coke in the other one in iced tea just about 15 minutes later we got our drinks then we waited another 10 minutes and thenthey gave us two of the small loaf of brown bread and a half cup of butter for three people. About 10 minutes later I finally got someone attention about the butter. They asked us did we want an appetizer I ordered us a bloomin Onion then it took almost 10 minutes to get another container of butter butter by that time the bread was cold. Then we notice family of four came in they put them in a booth then I noticed our waiter went over within about three minutes of them sitting down and ask them what they wanted to drink and also took their order. About five minutes later he brings their drinks over with a couple loaf of Brown breads .by this time we've been sitting in a restaurant for 50 minutes with only our drinks and a loaf and a half of brown cold bread. I finally got a manager's attention I explained to her what happened I was not happy about it she wanted us to stay she said she would personally take are order and bring it to us when when it was done. I said nevermind I wanted to pay for what we had two glasses of pop and a glass of iced teashe said long as you don't have any alcohol she was not charging us nothing. She really did try to get us to stay but I was Fed up by then. So I've been told right now in some restaurants if you start complaining about your service they do things to your food that I did not want to think about. I'm in the outback quite a few times usually the service is great but just was ridiculous the manager said if we wanted to come back at a different time and ask for her and she would take care of us. But I'm not going back for a while and when I do I am not going to ask for her...

It used to be my go to place unfortunately their prices have shot up on the basics and not many sales on those staple items. I've found those staple items at other stores on sale often. For instance Helmans mayo $9+ rarely on sale. LandOLakes tub Butter $4.99+ rarely on sale. The positive, it's never busy so you can get in and out fast. They have a lot of expiring food so you have to be careful when buying the bargain items but you can find some great...
