Carnegie Institute — Local services in Troy

Graduated the Medical Assistant program in 07' and couldn't be happier with the education I received from Carnegie. They tell you while you're there that you will always be more prepared than ppl you meet in the field that attended some of these other schools that you see on TV or even the "real colleges" and you kinda take it with a grain of salt. But I'll tell you from experience, that they are 100% correct! Now, you can't just show up and get all the info through osmosis. You have to bust your butt cuz its pretty rigorous! But I worked hard while I was there and I have had a few jobs in the past 10 years, and I was definitely always the most educated and well rounded CMA that I have met thus far! Very hands on program and the instructors are the greatest ever!!!!...

Let's see where do I start. If I could give CARNEGIE INSTITUTE a zero, I would. First of all, you all should try to not let your true colors show. My daughter does not need your staff to validate her but you could make an attempt and pretend to be fair. Denise came in the back room before graduation and hugged every student but our daughter. In 2024, you should be trying to hide or tone down the racism. It doesn't look good. Second, our daughter graduated with honors, but she was not recognized. Before you come back with a rebuttal of 'we don't show in you in out database, we don't show you ever attended our school'.....I will come back louder and with receipts. We can do this all day! This school is not worth it and I hate to have to say...

Beware of this private school. They dont provide one-on-one training advertised & will steal your money and kick you out of the programs when you're passing. Do yourself a favor and spend your money at a university. How is it ethical to kick a senior out of their programs and leave them stuck paying an $18000 loan. Real Christian like. This is a real review from someone that attended Carnegie. So beware if you decide to go here. They stole $10000 from me and kicked me out when I was an A student. Except in the practical class. The teacher and used favoritism. Beware before...
