Rogers & Hollands Has a lot to be desired!!!! My daughter received an engagement ring from there. She had it for about six months and then a diamond fell out when she took it to Rogers & Hollands to be cleaned, she got it back and a short time later another diamond fell out!!! So she was so upset because it was to the point Rogers & Hollands had her engagement ring more than she did!!! So she asked for a different ring and they agreed to give her another ring, but at this point she already had the bands for the ring that was loosing diamonds, So she had to return those bands and get new bands for the new ring which cost her more money! So she got married and sent the rings in to be soddered together she gets the rings back and low and behold she lost a diamond a short time after that. She gets the ring back and 3 weeks after she gets it back she lost another diamond!!! That makes loosing 4 diamonds!!!!! Mind you she takes care of this ring like a baby she doesn't sleep with it on she doesn't wear it when she is cleaning or doing dishes. So she posted something on their facebook page and they deleted her post! She has been dealing with Headquarters and they refuse to give them their money back! The East Side Madison WI Store has poor customer service the Manager sat there and told us that if she gets another Halo Ring she will loose a diamond once a year!!!!! Why didn't they tell us this when the ring was purchased!!!!!!!! I have spent a lot of money myself at Rogers & Hollands along with my Mother (mom spent more than me) and that wont happen again! Read moreFor my 10 year wedding anniversary my husband wanted me to get the other side of my wedding band. We went to Rogers and Holland where we ordered our wedding bands from 10 years ago to get the same exact band put on the other side of my ring. We paid for it ordered it. They said it was coming from Chicago their home office and would take two weeks or so-so I called at the two week mark to get a status update because of course they had not called to let me know that it was ready for pick up.they said that it was still not in and to check back in a week which I did. I got news today that that ring has been discontinued…they had NEVER reached out to let me know anything! He said they can do one of two things either have the band custom-made, which would be an extra two to $300 or they can give me a refund. I’m definitely not paying for a custom band that is not custom. it is the exact same band that you sold and now you tell me that you don’t have it. I’m not covering that extra two to $300. I asked them if they would reach out to corporate to see if they would cover it because it was them dropping the ball and They said no. So I called corporate to file a formal complaint because that is terrible customer service and not my fault that you had some thing in your system saying that you have it I paid for it and now you’re telling me that it’s not available . A salesman came out to greet us and we immediately notified him that we were just browsing, but he insisted that we sit down with him so that he could at least give us a little bit of information on what to look for, even if we ended up purchasing a ring from another establishment. I will admit, at first I was a little annoyed because I thought "Oh great, the classic salesman pitch", but no.
The salesman that my boyfriend and I talked with was an incredibly humble, honest man just looking to inform buyers of their options and what to look for and stay clear of. In no way did he try and pitch a sale on any of their personal products. Instead, what we got from him was a lot of valuable information from a very knowledgeable man. I kick myself for not getting his name because that guy went above and beyond my expectations.
