Alexander Coin & Pawn — Local services in Maine Township

This is by far the best pawn shop I have been to. The owner is extremely nice as well as the other workers there. I had a few things in pawn there as in some video games, a tablet, and a controller for Nintendo switch. I was not able to pick up my items on the due date. Instead of losing my stuff, they gave me more time and didn't keep my things. After being late already, I went to finally get my things and they were accidentally moved from the place they were supposed to be at. The owner took my info down and said he would call me when he located them. 10 minutes later he called saying he found them and that I have the whole month to pick them up. 3 weeks later I went to get them. Not only was I already late the first time, I'm now over 5 weeks past the final date. He apologized to me for what happened, which honestly wasn't to big a deal cuz things happen, that is just life. But not only did he apologize, he took money off the fee, and gave me some items in his shop for FREE! I have never seen a pawn shop operate in such a caring way. I will never go to any other pawn shop again as long as I live. Give this place your business because...

Just a heads up if your buying anything from this shop be advise some of their collective, antiques or valued merchandise may not be legit so your best bet is to have some of the items ether double checked or do some research first, I bought two items from their shop and found out this gold pocket watch was fake, and I tried going back to the shop and whomever the shopkeeper is won't even take it back claiming all sales are final and told me not to set foot in the shop again or he'll call the cops.

It's not the wrong shop because across the street there's a construction area being done at the time I visited your shop and if you look to the right leaving the pawn shop there's a traffic light with a dental office in the corner so tell me why are you resorting to lying? Well it has been 9-10 year maybe longer, it is the only pawnshop that I go to when I need extra cash. I would not and did not go any other place and I highly recommend Alexander Coin and Pawn shop. I see a comment from a guy saying this place is dirty, creepy but I know these wonderful people who work there. I suggest please do not judge book by its cover. Place might not be sparkling clear or up to date, but what matter is the honesty, and trustworthiness of this place. To be honest with you, I was late few times, late longer than 30 days but they did not sell my items not charged more.
