Shop & Save Market — Local services in Maine Township

Stopped here a few weeks ago in the morning. I grabbed a carton of ice coffee, took it home and started drinking it. Then I realized it was a month past the sell by date. I emailed the store and they did offer me a refund. But the manager who was emailing me never asked for a receipt which I found weird. he said his store is normally on top of these things but stuff can fall through the cracks. The carton was in the very front of the self. And if you look at other past reviews, old expired even mold food seems to be a problem at this store.

I went in to get my refund. Two random employees that were helping me were never told that I was coming in and weren't aware of the situation even though they didn't seem surprised that it happened at all. Only one employee apologized and it was said like it was an afterthought.

Over all this location is over priced and is a health risk to shop at. I blame poor management. If your manager doesn't care your...

I live across the street and this store is convenient for a few things.....but the service is TERRIBLE....I work at a well know grocery store and when there are more then 2 people in line another line is open...whether it be the front end manager or customer service person they hop on a register and check people out. I went this afternoon around 3:30 to pick up a few items and 4 check out lanes were open with at least 3 customers per line.....mind you service counter was closed but had 2 employees behind it just talking. As I wait in line the employee in the register next to me tells the people in her line she was closing after the next customer!!!.....So much for customer service......your customer service needs a complete over haul....I won't go into my experience from the deli department....employees eating behind the counter!!!!.....I know that is a violation as I am food service...

With a family your always looking for a bargain. With the rise of the fruit market you're able to find products from the old country as well as new favorites. Being able to find that gem of an item is always great. Shop and save will have it.

The staff is totally friendly, with an exception at the costumer service counter but hey, what can you do not everyone can pull off taking care of people. Every single person other than that individual has been a delight and eager to please.

Thier already prepared food is hot, fresh and delicious. Don't get me started on the cakes, to die for. Bread is the freshest I've had outside of Europe. The rye is a personal favorite.
