If I had left a review three days ago, I would have given this store five stars, but now I'm glad I didn't. Three days ago Friday, I had a great experience visiting this store. It was packed with items, which should have been a sign (more on that later). I didn't buy anything during that visit, but the next day Saturday, I couldn't stop thinking about some items, so I decided to return. I drove 45 minutes, left early from my plans, and arrived at the store, only to find it closed at 4:30 PM. Their only opening hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM. This was a major inconvenience.
Today Sunday, I visited the store again with my brother, another potential customer. We were excited, but an older blonde lady, presumably the owner, accused us of damaging the Barbies on display. The Barbies were already damaged, as evident from photos taken three days earlier and today. She did not ever apologize. Despite her rude attitude, I still wanted to buy some items. However, when I went to check out, the items I chose had no price tags. The lady then made up prices on the spot. Mind you the items I was trying to get I knew had value unlike some other items in the store which you can easily google search imagine, just a tip!!! Anyways I asked her to double-check the inventory prices, and she strangely asked me twice if I was sure, even though I had clearly requested it once.
She proceeded to Google the items instead of checking her actual prices and claimed she left her inventory sheet at home. This made me feel like she was trying to scam, gaslight, and definitely treating me like I was stupid (the irony). How could she remember the prices of the items I wanted but not the condition of the damaged Barbies she had in her store? The store is filled to the brim, likely due to poor customer service, unprofessionalism, and shady business practices.
I would have loved to recommend this store to many people, but unfortunately, I don't think I will. I did enjoy the store and its neat items, and maybe I'll visit again in the future, but that's a big maybe. Hopefully, the woman won't be there. Never have I ever been treated like...
Read moreI legitimately don’t like this store. When I went There was a really unfriendly atmosphere here with multiple signs and such saying that you were being watched, and the fact that I wasn’t really greeted when I came in with who I assume was the owner talking to someone in french the entire time i was there. Also almost nothing had Tags on them and the entire place was narrow hallways and small rooms with not a lot of space to walk, even in their little annex a few doors down. Like there were some pretty neat things in there and if I could see the prices I probably would’ve considered buying them but a lot of it was junk and It legitimately felt like some kinda trap where I felt like if I stayed there any longer I would be accused of damaging something expensive that I wasn’t even looking and be forced to pay some over inflated price for it. Avoid...
Read moreIf display cases full of angel figurines and old silverware is your thing. Then this is the place for you. Me not so much. It is very tightly packed and difficult to navigate. So many layers of things. There may have been something interesting in there, but if it's layered under three or four other things, then I'm not going to risk...
