First I would like to say a very special hello and thanks to Ilya in the Manhattan beach location.
Secondly a shoutout to Heidi for her input while we were in the showroom.
My wife and I have always wanted to try the lovesac brand.
Now for the review,
We arrived about five minutes before they opened and Ilya was kind enough to let us in and introduce himself.
Ilya asked us for some information as to what we might be interested in and with that he began to get a feel for who we are and on what our needs and wants were.
As you know needs and wants sometimes donât add up to what you might think. So with our info in mind Ilya took us to a work table and my wife and I had a laugh that we were going to play with some blocks.
All kidding aside the blocks truly helped us to envision how each piece of furniture would fit in to our home and how we might arrange them to fit the space that we had in mind.
Ilya, truly understands the product and had a wonderful understanding of how to bring our vision together.
After me joking around with him we realized that Ilya has a wonderful understanding of salesmanship and truly made us comfortable with making our decision to buy our furniture through him and lovesac.
Itâs not often that you have a sales person listen and understanding your needs and is able to see your true vision so for that we thank him.
Ilya, Helped us with choosing the type of coverings and the colors of our coverings so that they would fit our motif and blend in to what we already owned.
This was amazing that one guy could walk us through so much never missing a step in the presentation of the product is understanding of our needs and showing us how each peace functions in your home.
There are a few things that if not told to us we wouldnât have had a good experience at home when the product showed up. So having Ilya walk us through each peace that we bought sure helped us understand what to do and how to put the lovesacs together.
I donât often spend more then 20 minutes in a store but before we knew it 45 minutes had passed and we were satisfied with what we had heard from Ilya that we made our decision to move forward.
As Ilya was doing his paperwork to finish our transaction he suggested the we take two different sample coverings our in the natural light just to be sure that the color was what we wanted and if we wanted to choose a different covering color or material. Who does that??
I was very impressed with this gentlemanâs sales abilities and knowledge I would recommend to my family and friends that if they ever are interested in purchasing Lovesac to go visit Ilya in Manhattan Beach Lovesac showroom.

   Read moreI went into the Manhattan store on October 23 and had the most wonderful customer service experience with Illya and Alexis. They were both very knowledgeable about the product. Illya took his time it was very helpful with the measurements and model furniture display which was very helpful in me choosing of my pieces. It was a smooth transaction. I called the store a few days later to make final payment on my purchase âpaid in fullâ and thatâs when I began speaking with Dan. The customer service I received from Dan was nothing like the customer service I received few days prior I almost thought I had called the wrong store. I had asked Dan if I can make an adjustment to my order and he said he would look into it. It wasnât until the next day I called to inquire about my request and learned that Dan had not bothered to check at all. Not only did he not check on my request he was not able to read the items that I had purchased on the sale order which delayed him even further in helping me. I became very Irritated with the Dan and ended the call. Dan call me hour or two later stating that I was not able to make any adjustments to my order that had already been processed. Due to the back end customer service I received from Dan I have been contemplating on calling and canceling my entire order. Both were very helpful in explaining the product design, warranties, delivery, etc. I spent most of my time speaking with Alexis. Alexis was very patient and attentive in finding just the proper set-up, amenities, and fabric for my living room. There was no hard sell or haggling. Everything was presented clearly and matter-of-fact. The cost of this furniture is not cheap, but it is also not that far above furniture of similar quality.
