Unfortunately did not have a good experience here tonight when I sought help for my six month old daughter. She had a cut on her finger and was bleeding profusely for 2 hours before we went in to seek help and was very distressed. Several patients arriving after us were seen before us. After 45-50 mins we were finally brought in to see a nurse and asked to wait in the storage room. Nurse did help clean wound and stop the bleeding but we were promised help with a glue bandaid to protect her wound and to be seen by a doctor. After 45 mins of waiting in the storage room with trips in and out by other staff to gather supplies for other patients we gave up, asked for (and received exactly one) bandaid that we were left to put on ourselves and told them we were leaving. Staff made lots of excuses that they were very busy because of the holidays. I totally understand it's the worst time of year for urgent care but don't understand why an infant was considered such a low priority that she was the last one to be treated for the day with other later arriving patients getting priority. When we said we were leaving they rushed to say they would see us shortly, in another five minutes as soon as their paper work for their other patients was completed, more excuses about the busy season were made, etc. At that point it was too late for us to wait any longer or hear more excuses and we left without a doctor seeing...
Read moreI went to this urgent care with high fever at night, diarrhea, body aches, and fatigue that had been going on for days. They made me wait a long time, only tested me for flu and COVID (both negative), and then sent me home telling me to just get something over the counter. They didn’t give me any prescription or take my symptoms seriously, even though I explained the fever happens at night.
Now my symptoms have gotten worse. I’ve developed severe vomiting, and I have to go find another urgent care. I honestly don’t understand how people like this are allowed to work in the medical field. Patients go to urgent care because they need real help, not to...
Read moreI wanted an impromptu medical consultation. Unfortunately, my primary care physician is never available for such appointments so I turned to Torrance Memorial Urgent Care in Manhattan Beach. I was very pleased with the experience I had with Dr. Babayan, his assistant Ashley and the office staff. The office staff was very efficient in completing the required paperwork. After a brief wait I met with Dr. Babayan. He was personable, professional, knowledgable and provided me with the information I requested. Dr. Babayan made me feel like a valued patient. If I am in need of a medical consultation I will surely...
