I just spent the last three days in Manhattan Beach. My friend and I were lucky enough to find this neighborhood bar in town. The owners name is Robert, he's a great guy, really friendly, knows his sports, and is loved and respected by all his patrons and staff. Tons of TVs with every sporting event that is on that day. A great menu and good cooks, the prices are very good and the service is fantastic. The folks from the neighborhood that go there are super friendly and informative about their city. I've got a lot of years under my belt, been to many places that wanted to be like Grunions, they just couldn't pull it off. My girlfriend and I went to grunions on Thursday and we sat right at the bar, and although there were two bartenders, we sat there for 30 minutes, and nobody even acknowledged us.
