Are you looking for a caterer????? For what it's worth, FORGET ABOUT BOCKERS II. My daughter and son-in-law paid close to $2000 and got JACK. Their contract said "done at 11:00pm" yet Bockers was packed up and GONE by 8:15! The reception began at 7p. Care to guess how many people didn't get to eat a bite?? Me included.... Genna was given one excuse ("We couldn't find you" [really?????? The ENTIRE wedding party was in wedding attire], then another ("We talked to the groom who told us to go ahead and leave and no leftovers were wanted" [SERIOUSLY, who can afford to drop that kind of money and not want the leftovers??????????], then another. What an utter disappointment given my previous experiences with their catering. Genna and Will were supposed to get the leftovers - forget that!!!! "Gosh we're sorry. We have some meatballs leftover." All well and good, except for the fact NO MEATBALLS were on the menu. "We'll give you a refund of $150." Why bother???? THIS IS A LESSON LEARNED - If you want top-notch service, forget Bockers II. If you want a company who respects their clients and honors their contracts, forgets Bockers II. If you want to get what you paid for,...
Read moreWe visited with Ally about four months before our event, our 40th wedding anniversary party. We told her where we were having it and what we were looking for as far as food to be served, and she was very helpful. It's her family's business and she has the experience to put together whatever it is you're looking for! She was familiar with our venue's layout and guided us through the large variety of food choices we could choose from. Our hors d'oeuvre buffet included stuffed new potatoes, BBQ smokies, meatballs, shrimp, teriyaki skewered chicken strips, and a veggie tray and charcuterie board, just to mention a few. Desserts we selected were miniature cheesecake bites and cream puffs, chocolate dipped fruit, and brownie bites. We had a large crowd who commented on the food, and we still had plenty leftover to take home and share. The helpers arrived on the agreed upon time, set up everything, and it was a no-worry event, where we could concentrate on our guests. Bockers II Catering was absolutely professional and we look forward to them catering our...
Read moreI am from out of state and traveled to Manhattan to spend Christmas Day with my son who is in the Army. We traveled from Ohio and I couldn’t leave until early Christmas morning. I decided to cater a meal instead of having my son cook for 12 in a two bedroom apartment. I was apprehensive but I found this place on google maps with good reviews so I gave it a try.
The price was affordable. The communications were clear and polite. Easy pick up and the food was plentiful. We were pleasantly surprised when we rolled into town after a 13 hour drive to have an amazing hot meal heated up and ready to serve. Everything was delicious. I’m really not a fan of green bean casserole in general, but I loved this green bean casserole! The turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes…everything was GREAT! If you are looking to feed a mob this place is sure to please! Plenty of leftovers for the next...
