Arrow Cocktail Lounge — Restaurant in Manhattan

So glad to see my suggestion to Google to update this to a restaurant last time is in effect!! This restaurant has a full dinner service!!

This is not a bar, it’s a delicious restaurant with great cocktails. These are pictures from my last couple of times at arrow cocktail lounge & restaurant. This was so delicious. I have now tried the salad, the deviled eggs, the fish and both pastas ( did you know chef makes everything including the pasta from scratch?). I also tried the delicious daily dessert. Almost everything on the menu is local and seasonal. And it rotates. This is the best nice restaurant in Manhattan, KS.

Full disclosure: You might think I’m biased since the chef is my husband, but even he will tell you I don’t mess around when it comes to food, I’ve been lucky enough to have amazing food in my life and his is the best and most interesting and thoughtful in town. I also don’t get to eat this food or any food like it here unless i go to arrow cocktail lounge and restaurant. If you are on Poyntz in downtown Manhattan, KS and not going there you are missing out!!

Their cocktails are also great and they have a nice range of mocktails to boot.

This weekend I got to go have a delicious supper at @arrowcocktaillounge and restaurant on Poyntz in @downtownmhk . I ordered the deviled eggs the terrine sandwich and the lemon posit. It was all fantastic, the deviled eggs were a special take on this classic with English pickle relish. The standout was by far the terrine sandwich, it was delightful - terrine can be likened to a fancy spam or smooth meat loaf, it had pistachios and cherries in the terrine itself and was served with a slice of gruyere cheese between the layers, with a delicious house made shaved radish salad in the sandwich and house made mustard on (you guessed it!) A house made potato bun. Absolutely delicious. The lemon posit had white chocolate and thyme and the magical addition of fruit caviar - those are the tiny jewels of yum on top! All the flavors were impeccably balanced, it was an amazing meal! If you haven’t tried it yet you should go treat yourself to their summer menu!!

I’m writing this at nearly 1am. I just had to, I couldn’t wait.

Put simply, the Arrow Owners are culinary geniuses, and Arrow Cocktail Lounge is their masterwork.

A meal here expands the mind, palate, and eye as expert restauranteurs craft poetic dishes that are built with layers of skill and meaning.

The seating area is reverent but the opposite of stuffy. Like the dining room, it’s light and open. The T-shirted staff is friendly—and you’ll meet many of them as they serve you throughout your meal. Try to come early for (or linger later on in) the cozy lounge, where you can sip all sorts of crazy things.

The wait staff was intelligent, kind, and personable. There was not a hint of pretension as they answered any question we had with a genuine friendliness.

Then there was the food. Each ingredient was placed on the plate with exact precision so each bite would be new, exciting, and impart upon us the flavors of the season, each flavor coming at the perfect time.

Our experience at Arrow Cocktail Lounge was relaxing and enjoyable. We were met with a friendly host that sat us down quickly. Our waitress was very accommodating. When she got busy, other staff stepped in to attend to our needs. Nice teamwork guys. The food, was to say the least, delicious! I had a tender pan seared pork chop with an out of this world sauce. It was served with in-house tater tots that had a nice crunch on the outside and a smooth potato filling spiced just right. The parsnip mash was tasty. My husband had the Smash Burger. He said the tomato jam gave the burger a unique flavor. I had a bite, I loved it. Maybe next time. Thank you Chef Michael for our delicious meal. The Olive Oil Lemon cake was so good, I could have eaten the whole slice to myself. Yum! The cocktails just added to the enjoyment of our evening.
