Furnish — Local services in Manhattan

When Dan, my husband, retired at the end of 2021, we sold our home in Texas and moved to The Little Apple to enjoy being in closer proximity to our daughter and her family. We were also eager to live in a much smaller city. The home we purchased in Manhattan had three living areas, and our Texas home had only one. We needed furniture for two additional rooms! I discovered Furnish soon after our arrival and received expert assistance from Elizabeth Moore. Elizabeth patiently guided me through several purchases. She asked thoughtful questions to hone in on our style and how we planned to use a space. She helped coordinate fabric patterns and colors with furnishings we brought with us. She regularly informed us about progress of our orders and arranged for delivery when the furniture arrived. With Elizabeth's expertise and wisdom, our new home has comfortable, durable, affordable furniture which we enjoy every day. The store was amazing don't get me wrong but I did not have quite as pleasant of a shopping experience as I'd of liked - somehow I managed to browse the whole store without being greeted or acknowledged all the while hearing other customers welcomed and asked if they needed help finding anything (there were people shopping but it wasn't busy by any means). I left feeling kind weird and down like maybe I wasn't viewed as a serious customer because I was looking kinda bummy in a soccer jersey and flip flops but who knows. Wanted to share this for the store's customer service in hopes it was a one off occurrence but at least something for employees to think about b/c I left and spent a couple thousand at a similar store that wouldn't have had to walk out the...

You are missing out if you haven't went to this store!!!!! I dont think i have ever left empty handed, the presentation is well thought out and its trendy and has every ounce of anything decor wise you may need and more ! They also offer consultation on deocr and homes down to jewelry, purses, etc. everyone is always so helpful and friendly too !
