As a bride, I do not suggest any other bride to come here or their groom and groomsmen attire. It is hard for me to write a bad review because I know they are going through stressful times due to covid, but out of the experience I had and how stressful a wedding already is, I have to warn all other brides to be.
When my (now) husband and I showed up to look at what they had to offer, the man who helped us 1, made us feel like we were an inconvenience for him at the time which should have been the first sign for us to leave and 2, was not clear what went with the rental options or colors that they offered. They did not offer brown suspenders to match the guys brown shoes, okay that's fine, they had burgundy suspenders there and I said that we would go with them instead. He did not tell us that they were not a rental option... we continue.... we figure out what the groom, groomsmen, fathers, and ring bearer are going to wear, give him all the names etc. Before we leave, I'm going over the list of what he has down for everyone, he had white suspenders down which wasn't even an option that we remotely said we wanted. I told him that he had white down thinking he just made a mistake and that we wanted the burgundy suspenders. He then told us that they burgundy ones were not a rental option so what, he just decided on his own that we wanted the white suspenders??? We decided to just buy suspenders on our own from amazon at that point. Something very little, but that is just the start of it.
When all the guys went and got fitted, they all got fitted differently so I called and asked why and just double check to make sure they had everything correct. They had the ring bearer outfit incorrect. So we made that change and double checked again to make sure everything was down correctly and at this point it was.
I went with both my father and my husbands father to get fitted and once again, make sure everything was correct. They both paid for their rental of the suit and we went on our way. A week before the wedding I get a call that one of the fathers never came in to get fitted and was wondering when he planned on doing so. I called them back and told him that he did get fitted and he actually paid for his the day we were there. So that was a chase to find the receipt on their end. They eventually found it.
Then our wedding was on the 19th of September. They guaranteed that all of outfits would be here no later than the 17th..... of course there was somehow a delay in shipping and 3 out of 11 were on delay and wouldn't be there until noon the DAY BEFORE the wedding. Thankfully they did show up then and everyone had what they needed.
At the end of the day, all the guys had what they were supposed to and everything showed up, but boy was the whole experience more stressful than it even remotely had to be, and for that reason and them being unorganized for one of the biggest days of someones life is why I am only giving...
Read moreI was part of a groomsman group that was renting suits from Men's Warehouse. I did my initial fitting about a month before the wedding and they said the suit would be available for pickup the Wednesday before the Saturday wedding. Suit came in as promised, on Wednesday. This is where the problems began. I received a text at 3:03pm that the suit was ready, so I got to the store around 5pm and tried it on. The sleeve length and pant length were 2-3 inches short, not even close to fitting. The employee tells me not to worry, they will re-order the suit coat and pants and they would arrive the next day for pickup (Thursday). What is the point of an initial fitting if the delivered suit can't be used? Forward to 4:30pm on Thursday, I had not received any update, so I called the store. The employee informs me that his tracking shows the suit being delivered Friday (the day before the wedding). Was anyone going to let me know this? The employee proceeds to tell me that whoever fitted me on Wednesday was wrong, and there's no way the suit would arrive Thursday as I was told. He tried to blame it on me, because I "arrived after 3pm on Wednesday", which is ridiculous because I didn't receive the text that it was ready until after 3pm. I let them know that wouldn't work as I had to leave directly from work Friday to go to the rehearsal, and I have to be at work before the store opens. The employee then puts me on the phone with the "rental manager". The "rental manager" informs me that he doesn't know why the suit had to be re-ordered, the material can simply be taken out of the current suit to fit properly. He tells me to come into the store and it will be 20-30 minutes for the tailor to make the change. Great, no problem. I drove from my house and was there in 15 minutes. The first thing the "rental manager" tells me when I walk in the door is that, no, the suit can't be tailored, there isn't enough material. Therefore, I drove to the store for absolutely no purpose. He informs me there is nothing he can do and that the suit will be in at 10am on Friday, case closed. Since I had no other choice, I had to take time off of work, the day before the wedding, to drive an hour round trip to pick up this suit. It is the world's worst business model to leave three days before the wedding for making changes to a suit, especially considering people have to travel to weddings. Makes no sense. Unless you enjoy wasting your time and money, I recommend avoiding at all costs. Just go to the Joseph A. Bank right...
Read moreI was EXTREMELY disappointed by the customer service that I experienced this evening. It started out very nicely, but quickly went downhill. The lack of professionalism at this site was shocking. Employees were sitting around and being rude and snippy to other customers and the employee that was “helping” us out was wearing an AirPod the entire time and quite often was mumbling his words. We were asked to pick the colors we wanted for my fiance and his groomsmen for our wedding based on pictures in front of us. We were trying to do so with the items in front of us, but we second guessed ourselves as the employee scoffed at us as if we were making the wrong decision. We wanted to be able to bring our vision to life by seeing the colors we picked out all together on a person, however we were told that those colors weren’t available to try on in the “rental section” but we were less worried about getting the sizes at that moment and just wanted to make sure the colors we chose worked well together. However, that did not happen and instead my fiance and a few of his groomsmen were trying on mismatched suit colors with one shoe because they were worried only about getting sizing. The highlight of this trip is when we took it over ourselves and tried on the correct color suit jackets from the “buy section” just so we could try to get a clear picture of what our colors would look like, all while the employee stood there and watched us or at times was nowhere to be seen. I was truly appalled at the lack of customer service and professionalism that was displayed at this site. Extremely disappointed and will...
