Culver’s — Restaurant in Mankato

In my opinion , Culver's is quite expensive for a fast food restaurant. However, I have always thought it was worth it because the quality was much better than any other fast food restaurant. Over 20 years i think ive enjoyed just about everything on the menu. My only complaint would be that the bags, and parchment wraps could match the quality of food. For instance, I don't want my order of two or three BASKET orders to be stuffed into a paper bag that's not big enough or strong enough. It's takeout,..the parchment wrap isn't even big enough to use as plate ( if you will) and the bag gets torn when opened because they staple the receipt to it. I'd rather have an actual box( basket) when I order a basket meal. I ordered three double Culver's burger baskets they came with drinks,..I asked for three concrete drinks instead and pay the difference. That was not allowed. Anyhoo, three burgers and two orders of fries in one bag, one order of fries in another, three medium concrete drinks ( with domes) in ANOTHER bag (unstable) and three fountain drinks in a flimsy drink holder. I wanted my money back at that very moment. Even if I had ordered via door dash there's no way the person would've gotten everything to my door without dropping or spilling something. The whole bottom of the burger bag fell out and the burgers looked like they were never even wrapped. 40 something dollars ( that in itself is shameful) but to have almost lost it all due to cheap paper products from a place that charges extra to have lettuce and tomatoes on a burger. And why, why, why does it cost extra to get lettuce, tomato, and/or pickle on any sandwich that doesn't offer ????? Whew ! I feel...

The last two times I have ordered my food has been slow and incorrect. I order a concrete mixer this last time and it sat made on the counter for fifteen minutes before the rest of my food was made. I physically watched it sit there and then when it was given to me it was half melted. There was an issue with them making my burger wrong and they had to redo it, that’s why it sat there. Okay, I get it, but then make the mixer over again because now I have a correct burger and a half melted mixer. When I asked if they could remake the mixer I was told they’d remake it if I paid for a new one. Poor poor service. The new drive through design is awful. The line to park after ordering is fine. But if you are in store and you go to leave both the entrance and exit are completely blocked by their wacky new drive through design. The line backs up to the road making it also inconvenient and unsafe as Sioux road is already an awful road to turn off of and onto without having a huge line. More than anything I’m disappointed by the attitude of the workers when there’s an issue. I’ve never been rude or dismissive to them, and normally have no complaints. But the last couple of times have been poor all the way around and they have been dismissive and rude to me and offered no solution. The north Mankato location is awesome, I guess we will start going out of our way to an atmosphere that’s far more welcoming and willing to accept a mistake and...

I have always liked the fast food at Culver's. This Restaurant is a little bit of Americana. I've been to both restaurants here locally and both are fast and clean, with a pleasant helpful staff. This is especially important to a guy in a power wheelchair. The main drawback is that the outside doors are not automatic handicap doors. This minor problem is not a real issue, because I generally come here with family, and because of the popularity of this establishment, there are always folks, coming and going, who are willing to open and hold doors for the guy in the chair. Once inside the staff has a smile. This place is an American picnic without the insects... What a pleasant treat! The food is reasonably priced with most of the Snack Packs being around and below $5. I'm always sure when I come here, I'll get great portions that don't make you feel that you where taken advantage of. It's easy on the wallet. Great for guys like me on a budget. I love the fact that besides the butter burgers (love their burgers... always hot and tasty) and crisp fries, (no limp fries here...hot and crisp..... not under or overdone....as far as my preference goes, they're pretty close to perfect!) they carry Pepsi products, which means....drum roll please....Yahoooo!!!
