Simply Burgers — Restaurant in Mansfield

Decided to stop by this please after my son's basketball game. Surprisingly, he was a little hungry. He had his usual classic cheeseburger with ketchup. He saw a sign that was at the cashier for buffalo wings, so he was inclined to try new things. He had the mild buffalo wings. I, The Adventurous one wanted to try Old Faithful. This gives you a good gauge of how a burger place will be if you stick to what you always get before venturing out. I typically get the bacon cheeseburger but decided to get the jalapeno cheeseburger and add bacon to it. He also wanted to ask some french fries to the order as well. When the burgers came out mine looked amazing. Typically if you get jalapenos on a burger they give you sliced jalapenos. These jalapenos or either grilled or roasted prior to putting them on the sandwich. Seeds were still left in the jalapenos and they were sliced lengthwise. If the review was based on the burger alone it would be a 5-star rating. My son enjoys his Burger as well and was raving about how good it was. We both were saying probably nine out of 10 stars for the burger. Most importantly to me was the tenderness of the meat as well as it not being dry. II was the bun itself and couldn't stand up to handling all of the condiments on the burger . The bun held up throughout the entire Burger which was a positive note is I hate to have a burger that falls apart before I'm finished. My son gave the wings 7 out of 10 and I gave him a six. He enjoy the fries but I thought they were a little on the salty side, which is an easy fix for me. Definitely going back. Want to try the Cajun fries as well as some of the other flavors of wings. It was a hot day in so there was only one group in before we got there and other started to flood in after we were seated. my opinion, service was quick but that may have been due to the lack of people in the facility....

I called in an order on a whim, wanted to try something new. Needless to say, this place has me ditching whataburger on the first try. I ordered a mushroom burger with swiss. The meat was perfect. It didn't feel too chewy or undercooked and it was a incredibly generous patty size (8oz). It was, in fact, bursting with flavor. I was taken back by this. There's no way 2 burgers, 2 sides, and 2 drinks that costs 25 dollars tastes like 60 dollar boutique burgers. Every ingredient was fresh & delicious. I saw they offered fried okra & to me that's a great way to measure how much a restaurant cares about their food. The okra is undermined in many aspects in the food industry & the people at simply burger made my okra perfectly. Crunchy, fresh, and refreshing in a swarmy late April afternoon.

I cannot emphasize the weird amount of joy that was brought to me eating this burger. I've never kept complimenting a burger so much in my life.

The drinks are also 1.55 (?) and infinite free refills? The drinks, not listed, are Pepsi products. Those bags were fresh as well. They got the good ice in the machine as well. They even got those multi purpose lids for the cups! The place was clean, well ventilated, and the lady who served me was beyond kind.

To hell with Whataburger & McDonald's. Simply Burger is...

Personally? This is the best burger spot in Mansfield just for the sheer size of the burger you get. They are MASSIVE, they've been massive and I'm happy to report they've stayed massive through the times...I've been here for many years. Prices went up a bit but it's still pretty good. Only downside is they don't have any combos, so burger, fries, and drink will all get charged separately. Oh, and they're closed on Sundays, but this is a personal gripe since I tend to eat out on Sundays and I'm fresh out of luck if I got a burger craving on a Sunday. The burgers are always juicy and flavorful, never dry or old, they're made to order so expect a small wait, but it is 100% worth it. Fries are great too! But this is absolutely a true burger place, it's a bit messy to eat because you're eating a half pound burger, but it's part of the experience I'd say. A to-the-point no frills joint.
