DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Customer service: horrible. Walked in to no greeting and no instruction on whether you order at the counter or sit and have someone help you. The waitress was a kid who didn’t know how to talk to people and should have been working at Abercrombie folding clothes. Had no knowledge or attempt at knowledge of the menu. She did not check on us at all during the meal and when she finally did ask how everything was and we were honest (see the food quality below) just stated “sorry about that”. Nothing else.
Food: the most awful representation of Italian food I’ve seen. We ordered the “lobster” ravioli in red clam sauce and the “combo” dish (manicotti , stuffed shells and baked ziti in the pink sauce). I have tasted better ravioli from the frozen section at Kroger. Might I also add it was $9 for FOUR quarter sized raviolis?! I’m not joking. I wish I would have taken a picture but we were just so shocked. Still trying to give it a chance we tasted it hoping that maybe it would be the best most amazing four ravioli of our lives. Lobster where? Barely any and also very very chewy. Which to me indicates over cooking frozen ravioli. The tiny four ravioli were also served on a huge round plate drowned in sauce. It looked ridiculous ! The combo dish of pasta was decent but then again it’s very hard to get plain pasta with mozzarella cheese and sauce wrong. The only positive I can take from this was the side of Alfredo sauce for $4 we ordered came in a huge bowl, which is worth it. Umm....and they had air conditioning. So...
Read moreBorn in NYC so very picky about pizza. Just moved to Mansfield recently and this place has been my go to and favorite until this evening. Met some old colleagues there per my suggestion for dinner. We’ve been in the the hospitality and wine business for over a decade and I suggested this place since I’ve loved it since moving to Mansfield in February. Told colleagues this was the perfect place to meet bc it was BYOB, great food and open until 10:00 pm. We were almost done with our wine (9:52 pm) and we were told they were closing. Door signage says closed at 10:00 pm. Literally had a few sips left in our glasses. We’re in the hospitality/restaurant business so we weren’t going to stay a minute before closing because we know how we’ve felt when people attempt to overstay past closing hours. When my colleagues wife jokingly asked if we were being kicked out they immediately said “YES!” We were surprised at their disrespectful response. Looked at my phone, it was 9:52 pm. Again, the DOOR SIGNAGE SAYS CLOSED AT 10:00 pm. They said they were closing and we needed to leave. It’s a Friday night. Great food but will not be going back ever. Customer service is key. If you want good food and not good customer service, then this is your...
Read moreTypically, the quality of pizza is good. We usually order from there maybe once a week. However, yesterday, the pizza was hard and somewhat burnt. I called Trios and spoke with Franco, simply to make him aware, we usually get good pizza from them but this particular pie was somewhat burnt and hard. I told Franco, we ate most of it anyway since we were very hungry. Franco requested I return to the restaurant in 15 mins for another pizza. Once there I announced my name and explained to a young hispanic guy at the register Franco ask me to come back for another Pizza. After he pulled my ticket, he told me he would have to charge me half price for another pizza because I ate it. I told him Franco was aware of that but asked me to come back for another pizza. The young guy displayed a dismissive attitude and stated again, he would still have to charge me for another Pizza. So, I told him forget about making another Pizza, I will buy my pizza elsewhere and left the restaurant. I didn't appreciate wasting my time driving 20 mins back to a restaurant only to be told by a young kid with a dismissive attitude I will be charge again for...
