La Jalisciense Plus (Paleteria) — Restaurant in Mansfield

I was thoroughly disappointed. typically drive to Duncanville for my funnel cakes but just learned that there was an establishment in my backyard that sold them and had really great reviews. I thought we’ll let me give them a try. Well I must say I was thoroughly disappointed. I ordered a funnel cake but prior to ordering I asked the size. I was shown the contain which they are friend in. Well the cylinder was about 6-8 inches wide but deep. I was okay with that because I expected it to be layered. Well the one I received was very flat and hard. Seemed to be fried to long because it was so thin. Secondly there was hardly any powdered sugar on it there I felt as if I was eating a crispy wafer. Aside from that the customer service was fine. Very welcoming...

Wow! Just wow! This place is awesome! Ice-cream is made in-store and the quality and flavor of the cream really shines through... my sister and I sampled over half a dozen different flavors, and they were all so good that it took me 15 minutes to finally commit to a choice. Let's just say that the quality of the Ice-cream combined with the hospitality from the owners has ruined all other Ice-cream shops for us... and I'm happy to say that they won over life-long customers today, and happier to ditch a corporate owned store like Braum's for this family owned business. Will definitely be returning next weekend with more family in tow, to try more flavors...

I didn’t know an ice cream place could have that many flavors, but this place does and they’re amazing! We’ve been twice and love it! Our kids both found something interesting and tasty to try, and they’re picky about everything, so basically what I’m saying is miracles happen here. Do your tastebuds a solid and try several flavors. Everyone here is super nice and happy to let you try something. The ice cream is fresh and the flavors are spot-on.
