It always has what you need and the coupon site us great, but beware.. if you get a item that may say discounted price or sale price or even ex: 'was $6.99 , and is now $5.99". And then you try to get a uploaded coupon, for say...$ 2.00 off. I'v discovered that it will take off the sale price,but only from the original price, and it has actually made the price the same or a bit more than before, the $5 off $25 spent is probably the best reliable coupon..so be aware of that, otherwise the Dolla General store in Manteo, I go to at times, is close, and is more affordable than all other stores but it is a bit like a racetrack maze with a lot of thing's sitting everywhere, and it is hard to find things for the items in the aisles, blocking you.. but the best change from a few years ago is being waited on by employees that are friendly, which wasn't the case a couple years ago and kept me away until recently. So thank you employees, a smile or kind word will keep myself and others returning, and another perk is that its easier to now upload coupons. I'd recommend this particular store, and I'm glad to say that not referring this store for a while. Kudos to the employees, and manager.. and also for keeping the mask on and 6ft rule, I would say please consider disinfecting wipes for the carts, for a chronically ill" patient as myself, it is important to help us not get sick, for thankfully I bring in myself wipes, but that shouldn't be the case. Keep working on keeping your customers I see a great change. ...

So as most of you know, I have Crohns Disease and I use a lot of toilets In my travels. This one topped the cake. Me and my boyfriend stopped to get a cold drink and use the facilities. I went after him because I take longer. Anyways, while I was In the bathroom, the older lady with glasses first asks my boyfriend if I'm still in there and he answers yes. Hes being nice because he always is. Then she says, she better clean it up because anyone In there that long has made a mess. Look, I don't know what customers she has had but I'm not one. So, I didn't buy anything from her rude tail. She needs some customer etiquettes classes. I would not suggest this store on her shift. P.S. I had to clean the toilet before I sat on it. It was already nasty. She needs to do her own job ...

When leaving the Dollar General Store in Nags Head, North Carolina Outer Banks, Kendrell (I hope I’m pronouncing her name right), was outside taking her lunch break. She politely asked me if I found everything ok, I said no. She then asked me if she could help. After I explained to her that they were out of stock of what I was looking for, she said she would look to see if they had it. She found a case and I bought them. That’s what I call going beyond and above. Summer peak tourist season, tired of working hard all morning and during her lunch break? That’s what I call outstanding customer service.
