Champs Chicken — Restaurant in Manteo

The store itself has plenty to offer, and the staff are great, the champ's chicken I know from others who have ate it is good, but a word of advise which I should had practiced myself, DO NOT PURCHASE food when there a hour or less from shutting it down, it was tough, hard to chew, and though I could taste a good flavor if not able to eat, not worth buying... lesson learned, I will try again, but I will go during prime hours, when food is freshly cooked. So not really a insult, just common sense, that if its been sitting there a bit and there cleaning up to close it, dont eat, wait til the next day.
