I went in hoping to sell my shoes from Jordan’s and dunks and vans which most of the shoes were brand new and never worn. I waited 5 hours for them to take all of them when they were done and I got a message that they were done so I go in line checking out and they said they were taking all of the shoes and I thought the worker said 366.94 for all of the shoes cause in total of all the shoes retail is $1,000. The worker asked if it was okay and I was assuming oh that’s okay and the moment i got the receipt to sign it, it said 109.94 and I was told to sign it and I said oh this is low can we negotiate and I guess he didn’t hear me although there was three workers staring at me like I’m an idiot and he gave the coins and cash before I signed it and gave me my bin. I’ve never been so rushed out and stared down and low balled so low and I was so upset, that the other coworker heard me but walked away as if they didn’t want to hear me. I’m writing this complain to see accountability and to get my stuff back if possible. I’m hoping cooperation email back and talk to me.. I have the money in a plastic bag, I wasn’t given a customer receipt for the purchased goods so I have no proof of that besides the signed one that they kept telling me sign even though I asked for negotiation or I’m gonna take all the shoes back. Went to Plato's in Maple Grove today. Brought in brands like Nike, Polo by Ralph Lauren and Young & Reckless, very good condition. Had a bucket full of clothing. At least 25 items, again all good condition. They only took 2 items and offered me $6 total. They said most of the items had wear and tear or were not in style. How is Nike and Polo by Ralph Lauren not in style? I would give negative stars but It allows me to give one at least. Most of the clothes that didn't even look at because it looked the same way as I brought them in. Plato's needs to learn more about fashion because this current location is getting a lot of negative reviews and it seems as if nothing has been done about it or that nothing will be done about it. I hope the owner reads these reviews online and makes changes because its sad that the employees don't know what actual fashion is. Also I looked on the shelves there and most of the shoes they were selling were very beat up and worn, but yet the shoes I brought in were very good condition and they still didn't take them, to give you the exact brand of shoes they were Nike shoes. I had a good experience majority of the time there and the employees were polite. But as I was waiting for a friend to get out of a dressing room, a woman was talking to her daughter and I didn’t notice her at first but when she sneezed, I looked up and saw that she was sneezing in her hand and then noticed she wasn’t wearing a mask. I looked to see if the employees were going to do something so I looked quickly back and forth between them and the lady but they looked at her and went back to what they were doing . The lady walked around and continued to touch things. As my friend and I were checking out, the employees kept looking at her like they were afraid to say something rather than being afraid of catching COVID whether she had it or not. Then the lady and another lady with no mask were standing in the doorway talking and as I walked out the lady was a least a foot from me. I felt my health was in jeopardy because the employees were too afraid to say something about it and continued to let her walk around, so I cut my visit to the store short. Hopefully they do better next time...
