I would definitely not recommend living here. We lived at another luxury apartment complex before this and had no problems. We lived here for a year and moved in when the construction had just finished. Everywhere was brand new. However, the apartment was hastily finished. There were stucco gaps all around the patio. Gaps in the windows and doors where bugs would get in (big enough for camel spiders to get in). The gaps created drafts and you could actually see outside through this gap. The sliding doors were hard to close and I was told thatâs just how they were. We had to put in many requestsâ it still looked and felt unfinished. The bathroom structure around the showers was terrible and the wall was falling apart (literally crumbling). There were uneven baseboards and the base to the shower was broken and patched with drywall.
They didnât landscape all winter. There were sink holes all over the property where they didnât create proper drainage. The pool was closed pretty often for repairs. One of the few times we went, it was full of bugs and very dirty.
One of the worst things about living here is the constant construction and work on the parking areas. I would say, in the year that we live there, the parking was resurfaced about 4 times (maybe more, I lost count). They would block off half the parking lot and you just had to fend for yourself and find whatever parking you could (they had us parking in the hotel across the street and the mall parking). Eventually, the hotel stopped allowing it and now have signs not to park there. Sometimes they would give a very short notice and cars would get towed all the time.
Many months before our lease was up my fiancé would go to the office, call, email them and ask them for our lease renewal so we could see our new rate and decide whether to stay or look somewhere else. Each time, we would get told the property management was still working on it. We started asking around September. Our lease was up in early February and we received our lease renewal in December. They eventually put the lease renewal letter in our mailbox, instead of giving us a call to let us know (this was very near the 60-day notice already). Due to the way they mis-managed our renewal, we missed the 60 notice. When we moved out, they charged for minor damages (fair), but they also charged us about 1,100 dollars for missing the 60 day notice (and are still saying we owe them more).
They gave us virtually no time to look for another place since they increased the rent by hundreds. At the price, staying wasnât worth it due to the conditions of the âluxuryâ apartments. When we called to resolve this, we were met with very distasteful behaviorâ to put it nicely.
The staff I usually interacted with at the front office were nice and friendly. I think the issue stems from management. The turnover rate here is terrible and I can only assume itâs because of...
Read moreExtremely Disappointed with the Management and Communication Iâve had one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences living at Encantada Twin Peaks. From the very beginning, the management team has shown a complete lack of communication, organization, and regard for their residents. Everyone is always getting fired and switching the office team. Iâm writing this review in hopes of saving others from the stress I went through. First off, the communication is absolutely terrible. Whether youâre trying to speak with the office staff, or management, it feels like no one is on the same page. I wanted to transfer apartments within the complex because I dealt with my upstairs neighbors for a month and a half with many complaints and even had to call marana PD not once but TWICE , and they never explained any of the charges or fees ahead of time. I was blindsided with unexpected charges when I went to sign the transfer paperwork to move, and when I asked for clarification, I got a vague response. There was no transparency at all, which feels incredibly unprofessional and shady. My biggest issue was a complaint I submitted regarding excessive noise from neighbors. I followed all the proper steps, submitted video evidence, and even visited the office multiple times asking for updates. The new manager Ashley said in her own words that the stomping, dragging furniture, slamming doors, playing loud music all past 12am was reasonable noise too her. Despite all that, it took a month and a half for them to even begin addressing it. That is unacceptable. Residents should not be left in the dark for weeks with zero communication. I was never offered any form of compensation, rent credit, or waived fees for the inconvenience nothing to acknowledge how poorly the situation was handled. The management does not keep residents updated on the complaints, or important issues. Youâre just left waiting and wondering if anything is being done. It honestly feels like once you sign the lease, they stop caring. Save yourself the headache. There are plenty of other apartment complexes in the area with better service and respectful management. Encantada Twin Peaks looks nice on the outside, but behind the scenes,...
Read moreExtremely Disappointed â Poor Management, No Communication, and Zero Accountability
Living at Encantada Twin Peaks has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences Iâve ever had with an apartment complex. From the very beginning, the management team has proven to be disorganized, unresponsive, and inconsiderate of their residents. The constant turnover in office staff is a red flag in itself â it feels like thereâs a new face every other week, and no one ever seems to be on the same page. One of my biggest concerns was transferring to another apartment due to ongoing noise issues with my upstairs neighbors. I followed every proper step â filed multiple noise complaints over a month and a half, submitted video evidence, and even involved Marana PD twice due to how excessive the noise was. Yet the issue was largely ignored. When I finally pursued a transfer, I was hit with unexpected charges that were never explained beforehand. When I asked for clarification, I was met with vague, unhelpful responses and no transparency whatsoever. To make matters worse, the new property manager, Ashley, told me that the constant stomping, dragging of furniture, slamming doors, and loud music after midnight were all considered âreasonable noise.â Thatâs unacceptable and completely dismissive of the impact it had on my well-being. Throughout the entire process, there was no communication, no urgency, and absolutely no accountability. I had to chase them down for any kind of update. It took them a month and a half just to begin addressing my complaint â and by then, the damage had already been done. Not once did anyone from management offer an apology, a rent credit, a waived fee, or even an acknowledgment of the inconvenience they caused. Once you sign the lease, it truly feels like they stop caring. Youâre left in the dark on every issue, and any sense of professionalism disappears. Bottom line: do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. The property may look appealing on the outside, but behind the scenes, itâs poorly managed, full of empty promises, and a complete nightmare to deal with. There are much better options in the area with staff that actually care about...
