Wow! Not all Doggy Daycare facilities are the same and Iâm confident Hounds Town Tucson-Marana is at the top! About one month ago, I took my Australian Cattle Dog, Maverick, to another facility here in Tucson. It was very close to my workplace on Grant, between I-10 and Silverbell. The first visit was for an assessment, that I was required to pay for. I explained my boyâs leash reactivity and explained that if he pulls toward another dog and you restrict or pull back, he will resist, bark and lunge toward the other dog. HE ONLY WANTS TO PLAY AND YOUâLL BE PREVENTING THAT! They didnât listen and did exactly what I told them not to do and my guy reacted just as I said he would. They quickly âfailedâ him and said I could not use their facility. No refund for the quick ten minutes Maverick spent with an inexperienced and tone deaf handler. I was bummedâŠUNTIL TODAY! I took Maverick to Hounds Town Tucson-Marana, provided the same explanation of an ACDâs behavior and THEY LISTENED! He passed his NO-COST assessment and he spent his first day there FREE OF CHARGE! He is having the time of his life in this BEAUTIFUL, perfectly maintained, indoor climate controlled facility with a bunch of new friends! Look at the photo (thatâs him supervising from the top of the ramps.) The other photo was taken as we were on our way to Hounds Town Heâs happy and as his only Hooman,...
Read moreJenny the owner of Hounds Town is an absolute Angel!! We needed emergency boarding for our newly rescued husky mix breed and called her at 430 the evening prior and by 6 pm we were able to drop Max off at Hounds Town. She even called our vet to verify his shots when I couldn't find his shot record. She was so kind on the phone and took time to reassure me and offered to keep him as long as necessary. Max has been there for several days and we have had several text updates with pictures. This place is immaculate and everyone we met seems to love dogs. Max has a history of being abused and is very submissive and unpredictable. Much to our surprise, he was immediately comfortable with the staff and he socialized well with the other dogs. I'm sure this is because they gradually and cautiously introduced him to other dogs.We can't say enough about this amazing place and the people who work there. We are planning to to return so Max can continue his socialization and...

We have an English Mastiff who loves everybody & every dog. We struggled to find a place here in AZ that weâd trust to take care of her when we traveled. Hounds Town won! Our dog loves coming to Hounds Town. She has a few nights under her belt and she can be a diva dog for them. They communicate with you if they have any issues. Our dog loves to play, nap and look out the front window. The staff is great with all the dogs. They have âpawtyâ time (doggie daycare) every so often..which are always fun as they do a different theme with your dogâs photos. Highly recommend! Great doggy daycare &...
