Stopped in here for a late dinner. It was quite tasty! When we walked in, the lady manning the register immediately noticed we were a little uncertain about the ordering protocol. She explained to us, very quickly and kindly, how the system worked -- start with a base bowl (ranging from ramen to bibimbap to poke), add your choice of protein, and enjoy! There were a few items on special, too, including bulgogi and chicken wings. My boyfriend ordered the bulgogi, spicy level 6 (from 1-10). I asked about the spicy chicken, and was told it was about a 2 on the spicy scale. I'm comfy up to a 4-5 (impressive, I know...lol), so that was fine for me; I went with the dolsot bibimbap with spicy chicken. We found the spicy levels to be dead-on correct, so that made us happy. The bulgogi beef was super tender and flavorful. I really enjoyed the crispy rice at the bottom of the hot stone bowl. There were a TON of fresh veggies, too, which were all delicious. I'd never had corn in my bibimbap before, but I liked it in this one. The spicy chicken tasted like smoked chicken, and it was so fall apart tender that it cut more easily than the egg on top! The service came by to check in and make sure we knew how to best enjoy our food (like stirring in the spicy red paste -- probably gochujang, though this one was a bit more savory than other gochujang I've had). My only complaint is the atmosphere. It was, unfortunately, super dark. The dining area was really large, and there were pretty much only two small Iamps turned on; no overhead lighting at all. It was really dim and hard to see and I'm not super clear on why that was the case. Still, the food was very tasty and the service lovely and so pleasant; I'd definitely return!

Ok let me start by saying the place was empty!! For a 4.6 star? I can’t believe that... in their pictures the food looks so good but it has NO FLAVOR if you like flavor please spare yourself the time of your day and the money in your wallet!! Almost 50$ !! Half of 100$ bill for what I found to be extremely over priced for the flavor taste and quality of the food, the chicken was burnt, dark and smelled terrible I felt like if I would’ve ate that food I would’ve had the runs right after, I had the spicy pork ramen with FLAVORLESS broth, noodles, and chicken!! The whole thing could’ve been made at home and if not better 😪 my husbands stir fried noodles with spicy chicken was also flavorless extremely greasy and a waste of money. Luckily my picky eater son was bribed with a coke to finish his kids rice and chicken that looked terrible. My tab should’ve been 25$ at the most!!! That’s how much I believe I should’ve paid... I feel scammed and will never go here again and I’m born and raised in Marietta and I’ll make sure to let everyone I know KNOW that this place is not what it is portraying with its Google reviews... this is low grade food at papadeux pricing Smdh not to mention the owner came out and was very nasty she refused to refund us for me and my husbands plate just cause he was picking at it but he’s like a 3rd kid to me and was just super hungry and couldn’t wait and ate almost all the noodles because he said that’s all he could stomach and she could’ve partially refunded that atleast so she only refunded mine I told her I would pay for my sons food that was almost finished and the drinks but nothing else but she refused...

Got a poke bowl and chicken potstickers for takeout here. The food tasted good overall. I do feel like there could be improvements in their method/quality of service. For example, they have you mark on a piece of paper what you want on your bowl. In my opinion, I want to see my bowl being made to make sure they put enough of each topping (even if I have to pay more). Also, I had my two year old daughter with me so it was a bit hard to fill it out as she was squirming in my arms. They also don’t have as many toppings as other places. In comparison to other Poke spots, I would say Poke Works and the Poke Company just have better flavor to the salmon and spicy Mayo sauce, aside from more toppings. Overall, I would go here again, but probably only if we were to try their other dishes on the menu, not the poke. They seem like more of a family owned business, so I understand with inflation prices have went up, but beware that their poke bowls now start at 13.99, where at the other spots mentioned above I can get their small bowl for a little over $10.

Located on Cobb Parkway across from Marietta Diner and close to Super Walmart and Kennesaw State at Marietta Campus... or as we old folks say," Southern Tech."

The outside is still reminiscent of the Captain D's that built the space years ago. Having said that it is much better maintained inside and out than CD's.

The ladies who run "The Bowl" are are really customer oriented and want you to have a great meal. They will explain everything and tell you the different spice levels are from 1-10 with 10 being Ghost Pepper and 8 being Habanero. I got the Beef Stone Bowl Hot Pot and asked for 7-8 on heat. I was expecting sliced ribeye in a screaming hot bowl with crunchy bits of white rice (you get to choose brown or white) and vegetables. I got something closer to a stew with shredded meat in a moderately spicy broth. Not really what I wanted or thought I had ordered. Buuuuuut....it was really good anyway.

The counter area is set up as if you watch them put all of it together in front of you like a Subway sandwich shop. But my order was made in the back. Maybe the front fixin's are for the make your own bowls??? The restrooms were clean, and there was plenty of parking when I went. The only thing I would ding them on is being cautious with the heat...and that is only a little bit. At supposedly 8, I barely got a tingle and had to load up on Sriracha...which they have next to the Drink Machine.

I will go back and...
