On and off resident of town valley for 30 years. I've always use this for Walgreens. Since the unfortunate Covid situation and seems that the work force has depleted substantially and it's stirred, it has risen a disgruntled workforce. None of us know where each of us is coming from what our days are, like, what are family situations are like in none of that matters when there's a business exchange, it should be pleasant and respectful at least. This is not been my experience at this place for the past couple years. However, I called my call was answered within five minutes has not happened in years. A young lady named Avery assisted me. She was so polite and so kind and so professional. I never thought I would come back to this Walgreens, but I absolutely will because of Avery. I have not met her but her customer service skills made the difference between me, never coming back and me, choosing to only say good things about Walgreens in general, and as always for the Walgreens in my hometown: off shoreline highway. Promote that young lady! The amount of hostility for me even the pharmacist himself not wanting to answer questions rushing someone off the phone or even hanging up experience and a lot is very sending to me and it affects our community.
Feeling anxious to even give Walgreens a call, let alone go by in person… I am not looking forward to being able to, without hesitation, or fear, use Walgreens as my pharmacy in my local store hub messages. The staff in the store separate from the pharmacy has always been lovely, informative, And incredibly kind. Thank you for whoever hired Avery she is one in 1 million and I'm very grateful to be treated not only with humanity but with kindness, patience, professionalism, and a heightened innate innately. Intuitive sense of dedication to her work and customer service for the customers experience overall. She went above and beyond with some thing I repeatedly struggle with in getting one medication refilled on the monthly basis. Thank you thank you, thank you, Avery. You offered a solution I knew to be true, but that no one else has been willing to do the work and extra steps I can't do on anyone's behalf… for the past six months. Blown away 🙏✨Avery!!...
Read moreWe brought 3 handwritten new prescriptions from our PCP. When we handed them to Nathan, he said “I do not understand you”. Perplexed, I asked another staff to take a look. It turns out, Nathan did not know how to process new prescriptions as a Day 2 newbie there. Instead of admitting that he did not know how to process them, he tried to blame us by saying “I do not understand you”. After talking with a more experienced colleague working on their computer screen, Nathan told us to come back in 30 min. He handed the original prescriptions back to us saying we should keep them. When we came back to him after 30 min, we found that nothing had been done for our prescriptions. We handed the original prescriptions back to him and waited for approximately 20 min. When I asked another staff about the status, Nathan lied to us saying that we insisted to keep the original prescriptions with us so he could not do anything. I pointed out that the prescriptions were in his possession at least for the prior 20 min. He finally remembered that he had received them from us but could not locate them. Another staff finally found the prescriptions on their desk. Obviously, the prescriptions were completely neglected until then. At that time, the staff asked us to come back the next day. Then, when I called on the next day, we found that Nathan misplaced two of the three prescriptions, and thus the pharmacy processed only one of the three. We would have understood and accepted had the issue been simply the lack of experience and the learning curve for Nathan. However, during these repetitive errors and mishandling, Nathan consistently demonstrated his dishonesty and lack of integrity. He never recognizes or admits his errors, and he seems to be programmed to turn his own issues to blame on others. Obviously, integrity and honesty are essential qualities for healthcare workers (and any other job entities). Due to the complete lack of these qualities, I do not think he should be...
Read moreBy far the worst pharmacy dept in N. CA. Recently went to pick up RX for my spouse. Called in advance and also checked via phone that they were ready for pick up. Went to the store and one of the two RXs was not yet ready. This has occurred to me on at least three other occasions. While waiting 5 people came in to pick up their RX's .............None of RX's were ready despite the fact that all 5 people received automatic phone messages saying that the drugs were ready for pick up. Three additional people complained at the counter that they were waiting in the store for RX's that were not ready for pick up...........and they were asked to shop in the store while their drugs were being processed. One woman was asked to wait in store for 30 minutes until her RX was ready.........she went back to the counter after 40 minutes and was asked to wait another 15 minutes..........as her drugs were still not ready. Young man at the counter was arrogant and was agitated when people addressed their frustration at being lied to. Employees in the back room visible to those in the waiting room were having a great time..............laughing while customers were waiting for long periods of time. The whole damn crew should me fired!!! It took me 20 minutes to...
