Hey friends! This review is about sustainability only. By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. And over 95% of the plastic that we send two recycling does not actually get recycled. Instead, it winds up in landfills, incinerators, and in our waters. That is why, in this gorgeous waterfront town, I’d love to see a bit more intention from local cafés and restaurants to mitigate the amount of plastic they produce, disperse, and normalize. Perhaps that means instead of selling plastic bottled water, you could instead sell glass, bottled water, or aluminum canned water. Or perhaps you could ask customers explicitly, if they will be enjoying their beverage to stay. Many of my fellow customers were indeed staying in the lovely nook to enjoy their drink, but all of them were drinking out of single use, plastic cups, that were then discarded into the trash. I do very much appreciate that you offer discounts to people who bring their own cup! That goes a long way, and perhaps by communicating that more explicitly you can empower customers to make more responsible choices on behalf of the local ecosystem. Just some thoughts, and I appreciate you taking the time to listen! Delicious coffee, and very kind service.

My wife and I tried this out the first time today. We picked up 2 cups of coffee there before we drove out to Muir Beach for a walk. When we arrived at the parking lot I noticed a little puddle of coffee in the car's cup holders. It turned out the cups were leaking. I was a bit annoyed that carrying the cup around wasn't possible anymore because of the leaking but no big deal of course. On the way back I decided to stop at the place again to let them know that 2 of their cups were leaking and showed the two guys working there the leaking cups, so that other customers don't have the same problem. Because, how are you supposed to enjoy a cup of coffee if the cup leaks? Anyways, the guys didn't thank me or offer me a refund. They just stared at the cups.

The ambiance here is the best! So welcoming and chill. Keith and Stacie are so kind and serve up great energy along with insanely delicious coffee. They even have blankets to use if it’s a chilly morning and your chatting with the community. It is seriously the BEST start to my day. So happy to have a little UPSIDE in my daily routine!

A super cheerful and cute addition to the Marin coffee scene (which is heavily dominated by Equator). It’s actually in an easier to access location than the Equator Proof Lab so for that reason alone it’s worth checking out. I’ve only ever had the drip - which is very solid - will update if I ever try anything else!

The staff is always friendly and cheerful and every visit starts my day on a good tone as well as looking at my cute...
