The items for sell were extremely cute and I loved looking around. My friends and I saw a flyer to do a scavenger hunt and decided we would participate in it. The worker (cashier) seemed to be nice and helpful with us looking around. I ended up buying a few things then left to go to the bathroom and came back. My friends and I decided to keep looking for the scavenger hunt and while looking we decided to sit down for 2 minutes on the floor. The worker came back and said with a rude tone “you guys can't be sitting down in here we have paying customers and you guys have been here for a while”. It was extremely rude to hear this when I was a paying customer and had literally just bought a few items. We had been in there for a while but we were participating in the scavenger hunt THEY had advertised. I understand not wanting people to sit around but maybe don't advertise a scavenger hunt then get mad when people are in the store for awhile looking around. Her doing this ruined my experience and made me change my mind on buying a few of the items I planned to. Maybe if she had said it In a nicer way it would have been fine but it was unnecessarily rude and we left right after. (edit after) I see the reply left on this and I never heard a response saying we should come back. I am not offended by the fact that we shouldn’t have sat on the floor (for literally 2 minutes) due to me stating i understand that. The tone is what what we were offended by, but thanks...
Read moreVery cool store, i love that all the items are local and handmade. However, I had a very rude experience with a cashier. I was with a group, and we had bought items and continued to browse the store. We noticed they were advertising scavenger hunt for a keychain, so we started looking around the store. After about 20 minutes, she walked up to us and said that "we have been in here quite some time, and that there were paying customers." First of all, we were paying customers. We'd bought multiple items. Secondly, don't advertise a scavenger hunt, then become frustrated when people spend too long looking for it.
Yes, we shouldn't have sat on the floor. I understand that. I was more upset about the fact you had said, "You've been here quite some time." I love that you're promoting local business but, as paying customers just trying to play a fun game while looking at products, we felt like we were pressured into leaving the store and it soured the mood. I hope you understand, love...
Read moreVery cute shop, and I love the idea of local artists and bakers being able to work together to run a shop.
There were a variety of candies, treats, chips, and sourdoughs. One vendor even had refrigerated farm fresh eggs for sale. We bought a variety of truffles, brownies, and protein balls and they are all delightful.
We also enjoyed browsing the t shirts, dog treats, plants, and toys. It was a fun place to visit; has a little bit...
