Myers Drive-In — Restaurant in Marion

This is a factory-made tenderloin (not hand cut or hand breaded). Which is why all of the photos uploaded look exactly the same with a uniform oval shape. That doesn't mean it's bad. It's a decent 3 star tenderloin. A consistantly layered crust and a thin slice of pork. I prefer a thicker piece of pork. if you like tomato, ask for extra as you only get one otherwise. The onion rings look like they are hand made in house. Those were very good though i prefer a bit more crust. We did not get flavors from other things in the fryer, the onions tasted like onions and the tenderloin like a pre-made frozen tenderloin.

Myers is an admittedly incredibly overpriced guilty pleasure of mine. It's a very classical American drive-in that feels like it hasn't changed since the 60s, or at least it's menu hasn't, and that is not a bad thing at all. Food tends to be a little over-seasoned, especially their burgers, but to be honest it's not unbearable or anything.

If I had to describe their food otherwise, I'd say that it's a lot like what the advertising leads you to believe steak and shake should be--the greasiest, butteriest threat to public health imaginable with copious amounts of flavour and heritage dripping from the wax paper bags your food comes in. Myers is carrying on an ancient, almost lost tradition of burgercraft from an era where calories weren't counted and cholesterol wasn't even thought about, and they're definitely...

Done a search at home for Diners and drive ins, and this place came up.

As you can see, the bun was big. And bring a giant double cheese. I thought I was gonna get a good burger like maybe a double quarter Pounder. But it was deceiving. Instead, I got 2 smash burgers that were probably 1/4 lb between both patties.

It was built like the big Mac. If I recall, they said it had cheese or grilled cheese burger. But no cheese was on it. Single slice of bread that was grilled. Tater sauce onion lettuce and pickle on it.

Was delicious burger, but I wish there were more to it than a smash burger for 6.75.

Fries were really good being bag crinkle fries. Fries just wight with a slight crisp and creamy insides.

Pepsi was OK, not enough syrup and very little carb.

I'd go back to try something else...
