After hearing that the EMC 1876 quilt was on display here, my mom and I drove 4 and a half hours to see it. We were met with a less than welcoming volunteer who happily charged us admission before letting us know the quilt was not on display as it was kept under sheets that she "couldn't remove" when we asked if the quilt was ever set for a display date she proceeded to ignore us. I'm going through cancer treatment and the building is less than accessible to anyone handicapped. All around a very disappointing and at points infuriating trip.
