Kohl's — Local services in Marion

So went into kohls and i was talking to a friend about a negative story from another kohls about food when a WORKER. approached us and said “we check all of our expiration dates, if you didn’t like it you should just returned it then huh? not that hard” 1. im a kid lol 2. this was a bigger lady in her 40- mid 50s working the cashier registers near the front restocking items. She approached us just to be rude, like went out of her way. wanted to go to customer service but we were in a hurry to leave and there was a line. but this old lady was out of place. yelling at us across the way over some candy i had a bad experience with AT ANOTHER KHOLS. i’m not the type to write reviews cause it’s a waste of time but this lady was out of line and i work as a cashier myself and that was so so wrong and out of place for her to say. it was mainly her tone as well and she’s treating children like this at her place of employment? not sure who this lady was but she needs a reality check ASAP fr she could’ve minded her own business and shouldn’t of tried to fight with kids. that’s so embarrassing and sad on her part...

Kohl's as a business is a reputable retailer with quality products. This Kohl's is a pretty typical one and fits those standards. It's a visually presentable store that is consistently clean, neatly organized, and well managed. As with any Kohl's, they have a wide variety of quality products. But I do have two issues with this store. One, regarding the business as a whole, their prices are a little high compared to comparable retailers. Same or similar products can be purchased elsewhere for cheaper. But also, my main issue with this specific store is that the staff isn't exactly the friendliest. The staff is usually pretty professional and presentable, but many of the staff members I've dealt with have been a bit unfriendly and acted as is they just don't want to be there and don't want to help. This hasn't always been the case, and I'm sure there are plenty of great employees here, but it's the few I've dealt with that gets this store...

Kohls use to be one of my favorites to go to. We just went there today for the first time in 2 years due to covid and being out of town and limited only to Walmart where I'm at. We go there today mostly to search for wedding stuff. Clothes, accessories, ECT. They didn't have anything. We found some cheap banners that you can get at the dollar store. And literally to my surprise , they had no high heels what so ever. All they had was sneakers and flip flops.. I was very sad to see that because that's what I needed and the biggest reason why we decided to take this trip in the first place. But it's still a good store. Just wish they could have more variety. I know it's harder now because money is tight all around due to prices going up. And not that many people having weddings anymore. It's just scary to order stuff online because I'm not sure if I'm really going to like anything and would have to return it. And that looks like what...
