When first walking into Philip’s Diamond Shop, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’ve been to many jewelry stores, and I can safely say no company has been as professional or cared about their customers as much as the staff at Philip’s. Many places will try to get a sale out of you, and will throw anything at you to try and say yes. Philip’s on the other hand takes their time with you, asks questions to determine what you’re looking for (down to every little detail), and treats you with respect and care to make sure you don’t leave unsatisfied. Apart from the staff being amazing, their jewelry is absolutely beautiful and I couldn’t ask for anything better. Whether you want to purchase something your first time walking in, or you want something designed specifically for you or someone special, they have you covered. It’s safe to say I will be doing my business with them from here on out, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

I presented an interesting, yet somewhat embarrassing and challenging situation, as I had a lot of jewelry compiled through downsizing, passing of loved ones and pieces that I loved at one time but no longer wanted to keep.

Having said that I wanted to dispose of the jewelry pieces….but didn’t have any idea what (or if!) the value was… They painstakingly went through each piece and gave great insight and a peace of mind!

Some pieces were sold for scrap, and they also suggested selling some things on consignment in their store! I started looking for engagement rings in November of this year knowing that I was completely ignorant about anything having to do with engagement rings. I reached out to Ben at Philips looking for help/advice. He generously walked me through the process, answering any and all questions no matter how ridiculous they seemed. The ring I wanted was going to take some effort as it was not a common diamond, and I also was hoping to have it by NYE. Ben tirelessly searched and kept me updated every step of the way.
