me and my cousin went to this store (not the first time i’ve been here) and though being greeted when walking in, i did NOT feel welcome. 1st. The woman working was lerking around me when i was trying to look at the jewelry, probably assumed i was stealing which is fine because it is part of her job to make sure no one steals but i was just trying to look at the jewelry :(. 2nd. as my and my cousin was trying to check out, she was extremely passive aggressive to my cousin when she has stepped to the side and was waiting for me to check out. which i do NOT appreciate. 3rd. i saw a dress behind one of the counters (not the checkout counter just a counter) and i asked if i could buy it. she said yes and when i asked if it was okay that i went behind the counter and grabbed it because where i work, as a customer going behind the counter is a big no no and i wasn’t sure if this was a counter that customers can’t go behind, so i wanted to be considerate and ask. she ignored me. when i asked again, i was ignored. i asked a 3rd time and was still ignored. when she told me my total that didn’t include the dress and mind you she didn’t say anything about the dress. i asked about the dress. this woman. looks me dead in my eyes and tells me in a very. unlikeable tone “i told you to go get it”. when i tell y’all i saw red. i took a deep breath and i will admit, i responded in a slightly annoyed tone “and like i said 3 times is it okay that i go behind the counter and grab it” she didn’t say anything so i walked away to grab it and the rest of the interaction she was very uninterested in me if ykwim. NEVER in my 17 years on this planet has my feelings been hurt by a cashier at a second hand store. i’m not mad. i’m not upset. i’m not even disappointed. my feelings...

I came to Salvation Army with my girlfriend on 7/26/25. I got two items and it was fine until I went to checkout. The women who was working the register was very odd and asked if I was paying with card. After I said yes without saying the total she took the card and inserted it into her POS machine. Once she did this she turned around and faced towards the wall. She then I kid you not proceeded to vomit everywhere including on the machine and all over my new debit card. This shocked and disgusted me and I was at a complete loss for words. I am only 17 so something like this had never happened to me, and it seems that it hasn’t happened to many people. After she vomited she turned back around and told me to sign for the purchase. She tried handing me the vomit covered machine and I told her “I’m not signing that.” She then signed it herself (without telling me how much it cost) and then handed me back my vomit covered card. Without apologizing she made me clean it off and did not speak a word. She made me clean her own vomit off of my card as a customer. I was so shocked that I left the store and I did not get an apology from any of the staff at the store. I tried calling them twice afterwords during store hours to get an apology and to see how much I had paid, but the store did not answer. I don’t leave reviews ever, but this is genuinely the worst experience I’ve ever had at any public place. I’m very disappointed that this happened to me and I hope that I get some...

The lady when I walked in was extremely rude and uninviting. She was eyeing me and my cousin up the entire time, as if we were going to do something nefarious. When we went to check out (separately btw) she was very cold and passive aggressive. I went to the side to grab my bag and to put my money inside my wallet, and wait for my cousin to check out. And she turned to me and said in a VERY snarky voice “you go have a good day.” Like jesus lady I was just about to leave calm down. So while she was trying to kick me out (for whatever reason) I overheard her talking to my cousin, who asked a question very politely. This lady completely ignored her, then got annoyed when my cousin asked again. Anyway the customer service sucks, especially that lady. Just keep in mind when you go there, that everyone that works theres hates their lives and is going to take...
