A Magical Night to Remember!

From the moment we stepped into the California Magic Club, we were transported into a world of wonder, laughter, and warmth. Gerry Griffin and his incredible family have created more than just a dinner theater — they’ve created a home for magic, joy, and human connection.

The food was delicious — with thoughtful vegetarian options that truly impressed. The atmosphere was intimate and welcoming, and the entire evening was a perfect blend of world-class close-up magic, interactive stage illusions, and heartfelt hospitality.

The magicians were not only incredibly talented, but also warm and engaging — each bringing their own style of mystifying brilliance. I was lucky enough to be invited on stage to assist two of the masters. Despite watching their every move with eagle eyes, hoping to catch even the tiniest slip, I came away with nothing but awe and admiration. Their sleight of hand was flawless — it was like trying to catch the wind.

Thanks to these artists of illusion, life itself feels a little more mysterious — and all the more beautiful for it.

Gerry and his team aren’t just professionals — they’re genuinely kind, passionate people who clearly love what they do. It’s rare to find a place where entertainment and sincerity meet so beautifully. We laughed, we gasped, we tried to figure out the illusions — and failed wonderfully.

Wonderful experience for any occasion!!! Food is filling, and you won't come out hungry. Service is excellent. Place is kinda tight and table is small, yet elegant. A hidden jewel in martinez ca. Our table is at the busiest part of the quaint little place, but we arrived late i wonder if we got better sitting if we were early. There were 4 performers excluding gerry who was a wonderful host, owner and magician himself. How he got that bowling ball appear is quite impressive! We got 2 of the magicians perform right by our table. I would recommend everyone to go! It may not be very good if there are kids under 7. We have 3 kids and I imagine them ruining the mood for dating folks. Other than that, it was a pleasant and great night for my husband and I. It was our first time, and gerry said it's different every night except for him, and I believe in him... that I would be as amazed as I was the first time. Perry is one of the performers that night and he was excellent showman. All the rest were impressive as well, and funny too. I searched for things to do to make my husband remember how much i love him on his special day, and thankfully, i found this place! Im glad My husband had fun for his birthday surprise.... and the crew made...
