We have online Geek support. Would have been 5 stars if I had reached Sierra and Kumar the first time. A big high five to Alexander Z as well from the day before. This company has a convoluted database in which your account gets split into every phone number, email or physical address; My wife and I have moved in the last 2 years. Alexander figured this out and worked for over an hour to consolidate the information and update it properly.
We purchased a top of the line computer that was on sale at the end of last year for my wife's home office. Her Nursing software requires 2 screens, we chose 23" Dell also on a massive sale. Total cost with antivirus, tech support and Microsoft productivity suite $1,356.13.
The sales associate claimed he had updated our information, guess not everybody at Bestbuy has completed their computer system training. He also said Mcafee when referring to the antivirus, it is Webroot.
In summary, just like every large corporation, Geeksquad has some top of the line employees with superior customer service skills and will stick with you until your problem is fully resolved and there are a few impatient ones that end up wasting their time and yours. UPDATE: The 85" Sony failed in the 10th month! Thank God it was still under warranty!! So... I dealt with Sony's customer service, emailed them pics of the tv, and the model / serial number plate on the back of the TV. They used what's called "white glove" delivery service. The replacement was air shipped and delivered to my living room in about a week. They also took the broken tv, repacked it in the same huge box the new one came in, and loaded it up in their truck. The Geek Squad guys were here the same week and mounted and installed the replacement TV.
