Momma Boyd’s Downtown — Restaurant in Martinsburg

When we first walked in, we were waiting to be seated. Waited for about eight minutes and nobody even took notice to us until we said something they weren’t that busy. That’s the first thing. Second the younger girl working had a really bad attitude like we were bothering her, then we order our drinks and that took about 10 minutes to get our drinks. Order our food at about 1145 in the morning so just before lunch we ordered a sampler and they were out of wings before lunch even started then when we did get the sampler, it sat in the window and died, because nobody cared about running food , so everything was greasy and nasty. A sign of things weren’t gonna be great when we walked in. Should’ve been all the dirty dishes laying on different tables at least eight tables just had pile of dishes on it the good working just walked by them then Care, the older lady working she was trying to get them and get stuff done , we ordered our food, and that took forever to finally come out and I had to ask when it was coming out and then suddenly it was coming out. Waited on refills on our drinks. Then when the girl did finally start picking up some of the dishes, she wanted to slam them around because she was annoyed by the fact that she had to pick up dishes I guess , the only positive person there was a very tall gentleman that came in after we were already seated. I don’t know if he was the manager or what but he did try to make things right us if we would try again I will not be trying it again because about five minutes after I left there , I got extremely sick vomiting and other things. Long wait time for food. Ordered a burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mayo, catsup. Was delivered with no toppings. Waitress took the plate back to the kitchen instead of leaving me the food while I watched my friends eat. Burger was burned and dry and tasteless. I was not informed of the $2 upcharge for my onion ring substitution. One friend gave it a thumbs down for food preparation. Another friend had a side salad that looked yellow in the bar lighting and my friend said it was mostly iceburg lettuce. I would skip going to this place if you are visiting downtown Martinsburg. At least 2 of us wished we had gone to Five Guys instead. The waitress seemed nice enough. The air conditioning felt good. She kept my glass full. If you are in any kind of rush, this is not your place. We were the only ones there eating lunch, except a table before us finishing up. I would hate to see what a "lunch rush" would look like at...

I do not recommend this place the food is disgusting was a big waste of money the service is horrible I've had to get up from my table and go to the counter several times just to be able to get something that was needed because the staff do not even come check on you to see if you need a refill or anything the picture of the food that I posted is all the food that was left over because me or my kids or my spouse liked any of it definitely will never be coming back been sitting here for a half an hour trying to get my bill so that I can pay for the wasted food and still can't get somebody to even give me my and yes I'm writing this review as I sit in the that is how horrible the service and the food is and when you say something to the waitress Gabby about the horrible service and the.
