I have only left ONE bad review ever in my life and this will be my 2nd. I took the day to decide if it was worth mentioning first. I've decided someone might find this helpful.
Yesterday I walked into this store with my husband because he was looking for a simple wallet or card holder to fit in his pocket to put his business cards in. I have NEVER been so disrespected in a retail establishment in my life.
The middle aged accented woman with short blond Bob haircut working was immediately showing my husband the sale priced items and while I was on opposite side of the display table, I picked up a nice looking card wallet that would have suited exactly what he was looking for. As I begin to hand it to him over the table, this woman literally REMOVES IT.. takes it from my hand and says 'thats full price'. I'm a bit stunned and all I can say is... 'um ok.. im not poor.. ??' At the price of $380 or something this woman decided I couldn't afford. Frankly, I was interested in this particular item and hadn't looked at the price, nor was that much of a consideration. This is an outlet store. Its not like I'm standing in LV wearing sketchers btw, but her behavior was as though she lot she was preventinga theft.
I was not dressed up or visibly fitting what she felt was in wealth standards to handle her cheap item, in my $1400 shoes and $250 sweater. Perhaps it was my tattoos and messy bun that threw her off, or my arms full of designer brand bags from the previous 4 hours of shopping.
Either way, if you want an associate to help you save money, and decide your budget for you, and deter you from spending money, this is the place. I will never return to this store.
I have never shopped Burberry before and I think ill keep...
Read moreThe saleswoman was not engaged at all. I'm not sure why they limit the number of customers per employee if they aren't going to engage with you. Felt rushed and like she didn't really care. The only time the employee spoke to me was to hurry me along with barely an attempt at subtlety.
Didn't even get her name, that's how bad the service was. They were just standing there and would look for items when I asked if they had them in another size. They typically did but on the try on go-back rack.. which they were not even working on putting back on the floor.
If I'm going to spend several thousand dollars on clothing, I'm going to take my time and get exactly what I want and I expect top tier customer service. I routinely receive better customer service at McDonalds.
With that said, I was happy with the apparel I purchased and the prices, especially with the holiday sale. Not all of the sales staff were that way, just the one I happened to have 'assigned'...
Read moreMy experience shopping in this store is getting worse each time. Recently I visited with a baby stroller. Two of the staffs were standing behind the glass door chatting and neither was bother to open the door for me. And this is not the first time I saw staffs chatting in the store ignoring customers. When I walked in, another staff was just standing far away behind the check-out desk pointing at sanitize station and said "You need to sanitize your hand first". Seriously, considering Burberry is a luxury brand, staffs should perform better than this. I suggest the manager here to do some good training on staffs to prevent further jeopardizing on the brand reputation. What’s more, they started to provide hand sanitizer much later than other store. Last two times when I came in, there wasn’t a sanitizer by the door. Neither were the AC turned on so the temperature inside...
