This is a cool little store/meat market. I only brought a few things, as at the time I was not in need of meats, but the rest of the reviews speak very highly of the meat cuts, quality, and the staff that work here. The staff seem very friendly and down to Earth.

The few items I brought were a spicy (hot) ketchup, a hot pepper spread. If you like spicy things, this place is worth checking out. The hot ketchup was different -- it had some flavor and was not as spicy as I was expecting. The hot pepper spread was mild, even though I purchased the hot version. The hot pepper spread is a little dangerous though, as, you'll be tempted to eat it straight from the jar 😅

Next time, I'll ask for recommendations and stop in for some meats! 💜

They are apparently well known for their location in Brooklyn, and we are lucky enough to have their second location right here in Matawan. I've bought T-bone/Porthouse steaks a few times now. Very reasonably priced and the meat just melts in your mouth. Really, really good. Also had some Cevapi and Kielbasa which are both excellent. They have an olive bar and some groceries from the Balkans. This is a great place to buy a fun culinary gift and I've even given steaks as a gift (and created customers for life!)
