My local Aldi's was @ shocker today. Not just because the majority of shoppers weren't wearing masks, but because the closest parking spaces to the store had been reserved for curbside pick up. The handicap parking, per the check-out guy said that all handicap parking was around the side of the store. When we left, I looked and the spots were on the side but you would only notice them if you drove around the store completely since it's all ONE-WAY.
The main entrance to the store where parking is, has no signs pointing towards the handicap parking and from the main lot you also can't see the handicap spaces either. I don't understand why the 4 BEST PARKING SPACES are assigned for curbside pickup when they could have been designed handicap parking. Curbside pick up could be designated to the curbside on the side of the building.
My other complaint I have with Aldi's handling of parking spaces is that handicap parking is usually designated by a specific blue, white and yellow paint on both signs and paint on the blacktop. Aldi's painted their curbside parking the exact same colors. THE EXACT SAME COLOR AS A HANDICAPPED SPACES EVERYWHERE ELSE.
It was shocking to me, because I am DISABLED and understand all too well what means to not have parking close enough to the store.
As for the rest of our grocery shopping, it went off without trouble. Although their hand-sanitizer was completely out and there were OUT OF HANDI-WIPES TOO. They certainly aren't thinking of the shoppers anymore. Because no one is wiping carts clean and no one was keeping shoppers limited in the store. It was a shocker...
Read moreSmall store, very organized, but also difficult to navigate and find what you are looking for , went for what is supposed to be a great gluten free section, was shocked to see one tiny end cap with maybe 10 items on it. The veggie department was miniscule, if you are a lush they seem to have a large wine selection though. 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon anyone? Ten employees in the store and only one register open with a long line. Their prices have also done up as well. Carrying more higher quality looking items , can't speak of the actual quality at this time though. Went for one item.. of which they didn't even carry. Probably...
Read moreOn Tuesday February 18, 2020, approximately 8:30, my nephew and I decided to stop in at Aldi's in Spring Meadows, to pick up several items for dinner. However, yes the store has improved tremendously; since they opened years ago. Yet, there were this one particular blonde that was stocking the cooler while on her cell phone was extremely rude! She has boxes all over the floor and I almost fell and she didn't even apologize! Not sure if she was the Manager or not. Yet, the other young ladies up front were truly respectful and curious. Whatever her position is, she need to leave her personal problems at...
