Caribbean Cinemas — Local services in Mayagüez

The location is easy to get to, but, although there is ample parking, you should get there early enough to find a parking space that's accessible. The theater itself is clean and has several viewing rooms. The rest rooms are well cared for and have both TP and soap. The food concession offers fresh snacks at the usual costs and the films are up to date. The staff is courteous and friendly. A word of advice, if you want to avoid standing in line for a long wait, buy your tickets with the Caribbean Cinema app. It's only a dollar extra and worth every cent. Edit: It is worst than ever. Coming today 5/21/25 to watch an early afternoon movie. I have been in the concessionary line for over half hour. Now is a single line for the whole thing. Terrible! Oh, and buying online doesn’t work either. Hubby tried at the same time and is even slower.

The place is horrible. Dirty and very outdated movie theater. Tv's that are old and dont even work in the refreshments area. Sheetrock ceiling in entrance is warped with mildew and broken. And the bathrooms are filthy and cracks on the walls from earthquakes, i guess! This theater needs to be remodeled asap its probably the only big movie theater we have in the region.
