Pollo Tropical — Restaurant in Mayagüez

I've been here twice. Both times dissapointed. Food twice was cold. Not just my plate other clients too. And when you walk to the front and let them now they just cassually shove it in the microwave, no apologies. They are so used to it. I can go on but not worth it..

6.25.25 I was here again giving them the benefit of the doubt. Like 3 years ago. But they haven't changed. Actually, they got worse. Chicken was burnt, and the beans were dried, fries were cold. And all the tables were dirty, so there was no cleaning. Bring your own cleaning solutions. Never again. Good by Pollo...

Tables were dirty, had to wipe it myself..I understand it was crowded, still someone should have been aware of the situation. Servers were NOT wearing gloves, too much talking with each other slows down the orders, even getting them wrong. One server even touch her nose while serving a plate, it wasnt mine thank god. Food was good but a small portion for the money, again maybe too much talking they unaware of the right portion to serve...need better management...

Chicken, rice and beans appear to be their main items along with other simplified 'criollo' items. think it's good as 'healthier' food. I like their fried yuca, just a hint of sweetness in it, not as sweet as sweet potatoes.
