Quala D Nail Spa — Local services in Mayfield Heights

I’m from out of town and called a head to see if they can take me in for a pedicure. I was told yes on the phone and when I showed up a guy sitting at the front said “sorry were booked for a week”. I explained I called a head and spoke with a lady and he continued to ask me which location I called and said all calls ring to his cellphone. I pulled my phone and showed his business and number we called and told him I spoke with a female. After all of that he says, “sorry we have a customer waiting and my wife has to go pickup our son”. I understand mishap happens but at least admit you have agreed to provide service and are unable to fulfill it due to circumstances that have changed on your end. 11 hours ago Owner does nice work but has very poor customer service. Doesn’t return calls and doesn’t treat clients with respect. He seems way too stressed out to handle owning a business. He keeps the door locked so as not to be bothered with anyone who wants to come in to possibly make an appointment. There is no receptionist. He doesn’t accept phone calls; he says “text me” but he doesn’t answer his texts. When I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment; he shooed me away and wouldn’t open the door. I started to get in my car and he reluctantly opened the door looking upset. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean and peaceful the salon felt, no overwhelming chemical smell and no noisy atmosphere, just calm and relaxing (the way a nail salon should be). Philip and Hannah were so welcoming, which immediately put me at ease as a new client.
